I'm being induced next Wednesday if my blood pressure continues to be high.. They are monitoring it closely and I will have multiple NSTs before next week but I'm super nervous about an induction.. She said its for the health of the baby and me because of my high blood pressure and my GD put together and my little guy has been perfectly fine but I'm extremely nervous... I know these kinds of posts are frowned upon right now but I'm really nervous and was hoping a few of you moms that have had to have an induction can tell me I'm stressing out over nothing and that it's not as scary as it sounds... I feel like I'm going crazy..
And if some of you moms have had bad experiences it's ok to post those too.. I just need advice or guidence from somebody who has gone through this... My husband just doesn't understand my anxiety about it and I don't think he ever will...

Here's a cute kitty picture for your time..
Re: After all this preterm labor... (Dear diary/AW post)
Married 9/28/13
DS born 11/12/15
EDD 8/13/18
I had an emergency induction where they had to "break my water" due to heavy bleeding. I asked for an epidural a few hours prior to it. Once it happened the contractions got more and more intense. The pressure also got heavier as my baby was making her way out. I gave birth less than four hours after the induction. It's just a matter of time, the waiting game and contractions are different for each mother though. Since I was so numb down there and being a ftm, I did not know how to push but once I got the hang of it, it all happened so fast. It is scary because you don't know what to expect and neither did I but you will be surprised, shocked, and amazed by what your body is capable of. Wishing you the best of luck and a quick delivery!
You got this!
I was induced with DS (the lil bugger had no plans to move out so he was evicted at 41+5) and my labour was fast but not crazy. I didn't need an epidural, but was asking for more pain relief towards the end only to be told there was no time. I didn't know how to ask for what I want though, so ended up with an episiotomy because he was starting to show signs of distress and they wanted him out faster; having read more now I think if I'd been allowed to change positions during pushing that could have been avoided.
I'd honestly be completely ok with another induction should the need arise, especially as I feel more prepared with greater knowledge now.
Edit because it posted before I was done typing
