Stripped membrane?

Just had my doctors appointment. I am 38 weeks and 4 days and my doctor just stripped my membrane, I lost my mucus plug yesterday so I'm wondering if labor will come soon or what to expect?

If it was sugessful you'll go into labour with 48 hours.

My 1st pregnancy I had my membranes stripped at that exact time and didn't go into labor for 5 days. So just depends on if baby is ready. Good luck!
