Hi ladies! Good luck to those ladies cycling!!

((Hugs)) to everyone else who needs them!! This check-in is open to anyone that is part of the SAIF community and is currently TTC again, either on their own, or via injectibles, IUI, IVF, adoption, etc.

A check-in will be posted every two weeks. Please reply to  the check-in post if you would like to be added to the group. Each check-in  will provide the opportunity for you to provide an update as to where you currently are in your TTC. Once you get pregnant please post about your first and second beta then move over to the pregnancy check in (yea!).

@PhillyJ33, welcome! Sorry I missed your post last week - I was scatter brained with my FET date moving around. Are you moving to the pg board or TTC again?

AFM: I am in my FET 2ww, debating whether to POAS Fri (5dp5dt) or Sat (6dp5dt). Crampy and happy that one way or another I'll be done TTC soon.

QOTW: I have a hairband I put on which has red yarn braids and a witch hat. DD chose a "turquoise butterfly" (mostly black with turquoise highlights). DS will be a Dalmatian (hand-me-down). DH doesn't dress up. Although if we go to our friend's party, he'll do something.

Hi- my FET was successful

I just had my first u/s and there were 2 sacs but it is still very early (5w4d) so we will see what happens.
My first beta was 682 and my second was 1681.

Congrats @PhillyJ33! Strong betas. FX for next u/s, HB(s)!

AFM: I am in beta hell. Early BFP 5dp5dt followed by "low beta" hCG 26 on 9dp5dt. Likely cp/mc. 2nd beta is tomorrow, so I'll know more. Meanwhile trying to keep my chin up for the small chance it pulls through.

Whoops, my early strong BFP was the beginning of the end. Tue the dr confirmed I am pregnant and yesterday the dr confirmed it is a cp. I'm done TTC; that's a good thing but a hard thing also. After 12 yrs TTC, I need to figure out what's next. I'll be taking a break from TB. Sorry to bail on you ladies. Wishing you all the best!!!

I'm sorry your journey ended this way. I had the early joy of a bfp followed by negative beta on my last FET. It sucks. Take care.

Oh Sharon, I was so excited for you, and then so sad to read this. I am so sorry hun. This is our last chance as well and I've been trying to mentally prepare my self for "one child not by choice" should that be the out come. HUGE (((hugs)))

Sorry I've been MIA. I was in Charleston two weeks ago and then pulled jury duty last week, which just made work even more crazy. I've been in cyst hell basically . We were going to aspirate, and then tried triggering with Lupron. That appears to have worked for one of the four cysts I have, but that is all. So I'm scheduled for aspiration on Thursday, and will have cetrotide until I start stims on Sunday. I'm so ready to start already! I was supposed to have ER around mid Sept .

QOTW: No dress up for me. My little one will be an owl though.

I've been off posting elsewhere. I just had beta #1 and 2 of a disaster of a cycle that included a low fert rate and spotting. Somehow my first very low beta (25) managed to more than double to 69. So I get more betas...

@amandaleigh1, more than doubled is good. There is a study that shows 9dp5dt beta that more than doubles has 40% chance of live birth! (if it had just doubled 20%)

AFM: WARNING: I am in a nightmare. (pg loss, tmi:) My alleged chemical pg hCG 26 down to 17, went flat 19 (5w0d), then started doubling (6w0d) so became an alleged missed miscarriage despite having a heavy AF a week before (and showing signs of ovulation), at hCG 200 two uterine abortion attempts were made and FAILED (despite suffering) and hCG increased to 300 (7w0d) an endometrium biopsy indicated a likely ectopic pg. Shots of MTX was the third abortion attempt - hCG peaked at 430 and it appeared it didn't work (8w0d), but the RE wanted to give it one more week (despite mental suffering) and yesterday I got good news: it's now working (9w0d). So I am greatly relieved the situation is no longer getter worse, but on edge until it is OVER (hCG 0) hopefully within a few weeks. I was prepared our last attempt had a 40% chance of BFN/loss, but I did not imagine this nightmare. I hope the nightmare part is over. I would like to move on - in one piece. A sour note to end our journey on, but a "grand finale" if you will.

@sharonB222 Oh my goodness. What a nightmare ending. I am so sorry you have gone through the ringer on that one. I seriously worry I am brewing an ectopic right now. The more than double from 25 to 69 is now 101 today (though the 69 is from a different lab, so could be "off"). Today's 101 is 19dpo equivalent so is extremely low. I do another beta on Friday. I have also been spotting since 12 or 13 dpo equivalent, which is also a bad sign and indicative of ectopic.

@amandaleigh1, all we can do is hope for the best and prepare for the worst. Was 25 14dpo and 69 16dpo? You are on P4 supplements, yes? I thought spotting was either b/c P4 is low or else implantation (e.g. uterine pg). When's the next hCG at the same lab? In hoping for the best: I hope that the same-lab number is encouraging. In preparing for the worst: cp and mmc are more likely than ep. Do you have any risk factors for ep other than ART? (FET of AH have ~4x ep rate.)

That said my 1st ep 20dpo was 124 doubling more or less normally; had to wait until hCG was 1500 (6w0d) for u/s (but idiot doctor delayed treatment another week, hCG peaked at 8700). My 2nd ep 20dpo was 19 (slight increase from previous decrease) so obviously abnormal and when it started doubling normally (6w3d), treatment was started even though hCG was only 200 (peaked at 430). Hopefully this information will be completely useless to you.

@amandaleigh1 - Sorry you are going through a bit of a beta hell as well.

AFM - I'm CD6 and had my baseline for FET last Friday. First lining check is wed 11/25, and transfer is scheduled for 12/11.

@SharonB222 thank you for sharing your experience. In the time since I wrote my last post I'm pretty sure AF came in spite of keeping on progesterone (at least thru last Friday). I quit progesterone and took an hpt on Sunday and saw a much lighter line, so m thinking this pregnancy is on its way out on its own. I'm hopping my beta will be close to zero tomorrow when I get a recheck.

@Gregermis good luck with your FET! How many will you transfer?

@Gregermis, yea! You have a schedule, you have a schedule! Ready, Set.... FET mid December! FX, FX, FX. My recent cycle makes me all the more grateful that two of my FETs were amazingly successful!!!!

@amandaleigh1, so sorry for another cp. Do follow up of course. My ep appeared to be a cp (it went down to 17) but then CD1 was flat (19) and one week later (CD8) started doubling normally (76 and increasing at an alarming rate) - crazy-making sh*t.

AFM: I got more good news (if you can call it that) today my hCG is down half again, so finally under 100 (again), and I am getting AF (again). FX, FX this resolves safely. Because I will be travelling (with dr's permission) next check is in 2 weeks. I will be 11w6d and hopefully not (very) pregnant - sadly. And so it goes this time. Glad it went differently a couple times.

AFM: Given the circumstances I got good news today: hCG sufficiently decreasing. 2 more weeks and it should be over. What a ride . Grateful for my 2 LC , sad for ending TTC with loss. So it goes sometimes.

@Gregermis - so sorry for the BFN.

AFM - My hCG was very low last week, but its decline was weaker so dr wants one more b/w. Ironic that of my 6 pg losses, this is my earliest pg loss (declared non-viable at 4w2d) that somehow is my also my latest pg loss (still in dr's care at 15w2d --- but almost done). The hardship of IF/RPL is mind-blowing - as in unbelievable sometimes. And yet, one foot in front of another and we find sanity and our future again...

@amandaleigh1, FX, FX for your next cycle! Will it be fresh transfer or freeze all?

@amandaleigh1, thanks. I was reading about accepting medical diagnosis, specifically for chronic diseases - and I think it's applicable. I'm fortunate in that my RPL is manageable for the future: I can avoid all symptoms and complications with birth control. I just need to accept that the course of my life was/is forever changed.

Ah, another ... mature mom. I say for myself: less energy, more wisdom.

Gregermis. I've probably written a million times that I cheer for the underdog (that last "low grade" embie)! (as those were my living children)

AFM: It's over. Done. pg#8, ep#2 and 12 yrs TTC. Done. Doctor's office called yesterday and after 16w, I am no longer pg - what kind of "early" pg loss was that? It was what it was, I know.

So, time for me to move on in Life. I won't be actively checking this site, but knowing me, I'll check back on you and @amandaleigh1 (and others). Wishing you the complete families you desire.
