Pillows are my go to. I get frustrated because by the time I get comfortable, I usually then have to pee.
I try to look at it as it's good practice for when LO gets here, I'll be used to sleep deprivation. I hope you're able to find something that works for you!
I have an extra large cherry pit bag that I use sometimes on my hips to rip me fall asleep. I put it directly on my hips and the heat soothes some of the pain. Unfortunately, until all your joints are going back to their original position, it can simply be uncomfortable and nasty. My baby is currently head down and pressing on my sacral joints profusely so I somewhat understand your pain, just a different spot.
Chiropractic can help! A lot of it can be just where the baby is placing pressure. I had horrible hip and back pain with my second. Hurt to roll over in bed, etc. Barely any pain this pregnancy. Sorry you are hurting! ♡
My mom said at this point in her pregnancy she slept in a recliner. I took a nap on the couch and it was quite comfortable. I may move my snoogle to the living room and camp out there til LO arrives!
It is nothing compared to the sleep deprivation of a newborn or a child with acid reflux and colic. I am thankful that I am at least getting sleep even if it is not as comfortable as I'd like.
SO gave me a massage and it seems its helped for now! I hardly sleep as it is between getting up every 2 hours to pee downstairs to pee up back to bed. Makes me so thirsty so i drink more water then up again and again. 4 weeks to go if LO isnt early!
I've noticed I sleep more during the day then at night. I'm thinking this is because of 1. I'm disturbed at night easily by DH and have the house all alone during the day so I can sleep or 2. I'm avoiding completing any task during the day. Lol. I think it's 2, there have been alot of cook less nights these days. Lol
The Bump is posting things before I'm ready. My bad.
If there's something strange underneath the hood. Who you gonna call? Your Doctor. If there's something weird and it don't look good. Who you gonna call? Your Doctor. Immediately. If it's new, painful, and possibly pregnancy related get your ass off the internet and call your doctor. It's for your health and your child's.
I've found the secret to my good sleep is my back and belly pillow. It's like a double snoogle and I'm thinking about still sleeping with it even when I'm not pregnant lol. We went to our beach house this past weekend and I left it at home since it's huge and we were sleeping on a full bed. Bad mistake! I got the worst sleep of my life. I'm also not taking any naps during the day and trying to walk at least 2 miles to kind of wear myself out. By the time bed time comes around, I pass out quickly. Try some lavender essential oil too. It won't really help with the pain but it might relax you enough to let you fall asleep.
I've mostly moved out to our couch. I've got a little pillow fort set up so I can sleep sitting upright. It helps with the acid reflux/heartburn. When I wake up from back pain from sitting too long I go lay down on the bed and snuggle with BF for a bit.

The only positive I've found with the no sleeping at the end, is it does sort of take the edge off of having a newborn who's awake at night. Your body isn't as shocked at the random wake up calls. I haven't slept through the night in two months now... I'm ready!!!!
No, me either. ive also given up on the bed and moved to the couch. And i go back to bed at 4-5am and sleep for a couple of hours then. It is miserable, sorry for you too!
