2 WIND

in November 2015 Moms
Has anyone's second wind of nesting kicked in like rush, rush, rush. I read on the bump lol that this is a sing of labor happening soon
I am in no words a cleaner I'll keep up on dishes and vacuum once in a blue moon buttonight I found my self steam cleaning all my carpets and mopping my basement fool... I never mop or steam that's a DH job for me.

    Yeah I've been going crazy cleaning and tbh my house could use it but now I'm sore and having bh contractions so I guess I take it easy more

    I have it too started around last Wednesday. I feel everything needs to be clean and nice. I never had this with my first two. I hand scrubbed my kitchen floor (I am definitely not the type to normally hand scrub floors). I want everything cleaner than normal. I have also heard the old wives tale about big time nesting equals impending labor. We will see so far no go here.

    This is my thierd pregnancy to and I don't remember it with the first two either.

    I definitely wouldn't watch it while pregnant for the first time! I cry puddles and I've seen it many, many times.

    I never got the first wind with any of my pregnancy first wind supposed to be in the second trimester I seemed to miss that symptom completely

    I am avoiding grading paperwork and opting for things like dishes. I don't know if it is true nesting or just avoiding tactics.

    I kept hearing about nesting and really didn't think I would experience it -- definitely missed it in the second trimester lol. But on Friday I started organizing the closets and haven't stopped since. It's such a fantastic feeling. :)

    I cleaned the kitchen and that felt like enough for me so I then ate some veggies and sat on the couch and watched American horror story.. That was my second wind and I keep everything pretty clean so I feel like my nesting hasn't been so bad.. Because everything's already pretty clean so there isn't really anything to clean...

    I'm not a good home maker I work full time and up to this semester was in school full time pulse a 4 and 5 uyear old. We have a cleaning services come in 4 x a week. So the fact I used a steamer amazes me lol

    i've certainly noticed a complete increase in how often I'm cleaning and organizing everything. I'm down to roughly 5 weeks until my due date. I suppose I just want to make sure everything is absolutely ready for when she comes.

    I have the urge to organize and clean but just not the energy.....plus constant pain. I wish I could get more done...oh well. Less than 2 weeks to go. :)

    I've been watching the same, and you pretty much described my weekend!

    I'm not a huge fan of the second season so far though (on episode 5)

    You have a cleaning service 4 times per week?! You must have the cleanest house on the block!
    No i have a 5 and 4 year old they are vary much needed. I don't see how some moms can make thier house look spot less all the time with little kids running everywhere. My SIL is one of those people lol

    When I moved out I took a label gun with me. Baby's nursery, which is really just like a little side room in my room, has random labels all over all the furniture. I thought I was insane until I read this thread. But I have to clean, I go neurotic otherwise.

    I do the same thing. Ten minutes before bed I'm like "hm, I need to sort through this. Right now." And then ask my DH to help, it's one of the only times I get dirty looks from him.

    Everything for my LO is labeled too.. Literally everything... Where the diapers are and what size and what size clothes are in that drawer and everything... They are EVERYWHERE!!!!
