I started my first round of Clomid on September 27th and I didn't end up ovulating. I called my doctors today to schedule an appointment to see if I needed to go up a dosage for my next cycle and the receptionist said she would leave a note for my Dr. to see if she would just fill my prescription and not actually have me come in. My period is very unpredictable, and could come anytime between this week and the next. The nurse called back saying that my Dr. wants to wait until my period starts to do anything else and the only reason I would go up a dosage is if my period didn't start on time. She said as soon as my period starts I could call them, unless it was a weekend and then I would call on Monday. I was under the assumption that I would be put on a dosage every cycle. This is my first time with all of this and I am just totally confused about everything.
Re: Questions about Clomid
I think with having something like PCOS you should be seeing a specialist. I also think the team of nurses that you generally deal with when seeing a specialist know how sensitive your information is and treat you differently than just regular doctor.
