I'm not a fan of place names but Sydney is better than most. Much better than London IMO but that's better than Paris/Dallas.
ETA - oh wait, is it a boy? In that case Austin wins by far (it's the best of the place names IMO) and London isn't used for boys. Maybe Landon instead. If it's a girl, definitely not Austin.
Just to clarify, is Laing the middle name or the last name? And is this for a boy or a girl? Not trying to be snarky, but I genuinely can't tell. Austin makes me think boy, London is something I've only heard used for a girl, and Sydney could go either way. I'm not a fan of any of them, but Austin would be my top pick out of those three if you're naming a boy.
In that case, throw out Austin right away. It's very masculine when used as a name and not one that is in the process of being overtaken by girls (like Ryan, Elliott etc).
I'm not a huge fan of Sydney or London, but I like Sydney much more. I would keep that one in mind as you keep looking for other options you like.
I went to high school with an Austyn, and she hated her name because people always assumed she was a boy, especially when she was applying for after school jobs.

Eta: I see you added Austin. I like Austin but not if you're naming a girl.
TTC since September 2012
Laing is the last name. The name would be for a girl.

It's my favorite of the three. London is second. Don't like Austin for a girl, but I've heard it (in Utah, capital of yoonik names).
Sydney would be my favorite for a girl, it's NMS but definitely a good name.
Anything else you're considering?
Baby #2 Due 3/7/20
I'd also avoid using a place name for any future children.
