I'm dressing up as Winnie the Pooh, lol. DS is gonna be Marshall from Paw Patrol.

I don't decorate much, but setting up the Christmas tree is so much fun.
What part of "celebrating" the holidays do you miss the most while being pregnant?
Nothing really. There's not really anything I do during that holidays that I can't while pregnant.

We are going as characters from Firefly. A pregnant Inara lol, my husband is Malcolm and our daughter is Kaylee.
I "decorate" for Halloween. And by that I mean the decorations remain up year round in our house. I do also put up a Christmas tree that stays up until probably Valentine's Day because I am lazy

I know I can make it all year, but green bean casserole is a fave. Just all the food combined. It's all so good

I procrastinate and whine, but I really love putting up the Christmas tree

Every year we go to the apple harvest festival and then hit up 3-4 wineries around the mountain. And passing apple pie shine around the fire

Pumpkin cheesecake! And the little roll thingies too mmmmmm... AND FUDGE. But I don't cook so I can't make them

I'm going as a pregnant woman.
But seriously, I'm wearing my husbands clothes all day and going as an asshole!

Holding down all the food I consume! Ugh! Stupid MS!
Also fitting into my comfy clothes.
What are your favorite fall/holiday food/dessert recipes? I love banana bread, pumpkin bread! For Thanksgiving My fave foods are Carrot Souffle', green bean casserole! Yummmm!

Are you a big holiday decorator? YES! i started decorating for halloween in late september lol.. usually do some fall decor for Thanksgiving and then set up a huge lot of stuff for Christmas
What part of "celebrating" the holidays do you miss the most while being pregnant? not gonna lie, i know i will miss the partying/bar scene on halloween and those glasses of wine throughout thanksgiving and christmas.
Pumpkin pie hands down. Oh and our friends mom makes this stuffing with sausage that I could eat my weight in.

IF we dress up for Halloween this year, we will go as Juno and Bleeker.

Juno and Bleeker would be awesomeee! And that sucks so bad about decorations. People are assholes.
I'm going to try some of those cute little ghosts we saw on that other post about halloween recipes. For Christmas I do homemade fudge every year

I'm not going to dress up, we've run out of time and nothing fits anyways but DS is the cowardly lion from Oz
Are you a big holiday decorator? Yes halloween decor starts at our house in september and we go all out since its my fave holiday. Christmas, the big thing is the tree
What part of "celebrating" the holidays do you miss the most while being pregnant? I actually miss the theme park haunts like horror nights and knott's scary farm
What are your favorite fall/holiday food/dessert recipes?
I love to make pumpkin muffins with cream cheese filling, and the copy cat version of the Starbucks cranberry bliss bars. I LOVE Thanksgiving sides more than anything ever..I could go back for a million servings pre-pregnancy so we'll see how I do this year.
What are you planning on dressing up as/dressing your LO as for Halloween?
I'm not dressing up as anything. My sister bought me 2 halloween themed tshirts so I'll wear one of those on Friday, and the other on Halloween. I'm dressing my two dogs up as unicorns though!
Are you a big holiday decorator?
I don't do super elaborate decorations, but I'll dress up our mantle for Christmas, decorate the tree...and H surprised me last year by taking an afternoon and putting lights up on the outside of our house (he's a total Scrooge and hates anything to do with Christmas). I also try to buy a live wreath for our door every year, mostly because the proceeds go towards Wounded Warrior Project.
What part of "celebrating" the holidays do you miss the most while being pregnant?
I'm going to miss out on the booze at my in-law's annual Christmas Eve party, but that's probably a good thing. Other than that, I really participate in anything that isn't allowed while pregnant. I do miss cider though. Need to find a good cider mill locally that I can enjoy a non-alcoholic version

My stepsister makes a killer creamed corn for Thanksgiving that I am craving in a big way. I also love roasted root vegetables and pumpkin pie!

I got a Krang tank top (Ninja Turtles villain with brain that sits in stomach of a mechanical body) and H got Donatello's costume lol.

I am, but I haven't done much for fall / halloween yet. I put out some pumpkins and some other harvest-y decor this weekend, though.

I love my tater tot green bean casserole the I only make for thanksgiving.

I decorate for fall and this year DS1 crafted up some a Halloween decorations. Now that he's older I think I will start decorating for holidays.
What part of "celebrating" the holidays do you miss the most while being pregnant? Definitely the booze. Washington Apple jello shots for Halloween, spiced apple cider, cranberry sangria, etc. I can't really think.of anything else we do I can't do.

DD is going to be a mermaid, we actually made her costume and although it is far from perfect it was not the pinterest fail I thought it would be. I don't really have any plans for dressing up myself.

Better than sex pumpkin cake is delicious. I also like Starbucks pumpkin bread.

Are you a big holiday decorator?
I have lots and I put out certain things but this year we will only put up our little tree and call it good. Our appt is too small for any of the table/counter etc decorations and we can't really decorate outside

Drinking away the annoying people. I don't get drunk I just have a glass or two of wine and it helps block them out
Food: So much. I love pumpkin bread, pumpkin pie, hot tea, hot chocolate, s'mores around the bonfire, honeycrisp apples, pears, stews and soups, Thanksgiving dinner. Yummmmm...
I don't usually dress up for Halloween these days, but I'm so excited to have a little one to dress up next year! H loves looking at the costumes in the holiday section at BRU.
We like "classic" decorations. We have a ton of pumpkins and gourds out front, and I may get some fake cobwebs. H talked about someday doing a fake cemetery in the yard with funny epitaphs on the stones. Maybe someday...
I do wish I could drink or maybe even go out to a party this year, since Halloween is on a Saturday, but I'll enjoy staying in and passing out candy (and having an excuse to eat too much candy).

I only dress up for work anymore, and our office always does a theme, and my mini dachshund always comes to work that day to participate. This year the theme is Peter Pan so we are all different characters. I will be Mr. Smee with my belly, and my dog, Peanut will be our Tinkerbell.

When I was growing up our house was ALWAYS decorated, but H and I don't have much of a stash accumulated yet. We definitely will when the baby is here so she can have that holiday excitement and memories.

What are you planning on dressing up as/dressing your LO as for Halloween? I'm not planning on dressing up this year because I'm too tired/lazy lol I've always wanted to dress up as Agnes from despicable me so I might do that one year
Are you a big holiday decorator? I don't go crazy but I do enjoy it. I try and do stuff throughout so you see stuff all over but I try not to do anything too cheap looking. More of a grown up version of decorations. Or Pinterest
