  • Sadly I was looking for more of an answer as my due date is off by two weeks or a week and five days I'm sure . I didn't get into an obgyn in my area because they were so full so I didn't get the accurate and early due date ultrasound like I did with my other ones:(!? I tried to warn them that my period is super reliable down to the very hour, I'm seriouse 4pm. Lol it has always been this way I told them the last menstral periods I had was almost a day late only lasts for two days and was a totally different color, I've heard of others having a small abnormal period while they have already conceived but idk exactly how it feels lol. And they are so confused as to why the baby is already almost seven lbs and measuring two weeks ahead I- I myself have only gained 20lbs this pregnancy . not a big person. ?!?! They don't want to listen very well I guess.. They did an ultrasound and baby organsnare formed and developed :0! Yet they are so confused as to.. Why the bun in the oven is about a week away from being ready? :0?
  • No one can tell you this, not even your doctor.  Even if you had a dating ultrasound, it wouldn't necessarily tell you the day you'd go into labor.  Some women have pre-labor symptoms for weeks, others start and finish labor in a matter of hours.  FWIW, my baby dropped way down into my pelvis at 36 weeks and I didn't go into labor until 39+6.  I know women who were dilated to 3-4 for weeks before labor started, while I was only a fingertip dilated at a doctor appointment 3 days before i went into labor.  Organs should be fully formed and developed for most of the last several weeks, so that doesn't mean anything.  The last 2-3 weeks the baby is primarily gaining weight, everything is pretty much developed.  And still some people don't go into labor on their own and wind up delivering at 42 weeks or after induction.  You just never know.

It's possible that you're more likely to deliver early based on your history, but I honestly have no idea.  That's a decent question for your doctor, but they're just going to be able to give you a statistical guess, nothing definite.  My mom always liked to tell me that she went to the doctor on a Wednesday afternoon when pregnant with me and was told she "definitely had at least another week" but then her water broke in bed that night.  Seriously, no one can tell you when this will happen.

  • My crystal ball says your baby will be here in 4 weeks, 2 days, and 14 hours ;)

Wrong. Labor will start next week around 11EST.

    Better clean that crystal @cMichelle0423

I should have asked my magic 8 ball instead!
  • I admire the crystal ball and eight ball lol
  • It's funny because so far everyone is guessing near the end of next week as well, even my husband lol
  • Semi update. 36 weeks now and my husband.took this entire week off work . Cervical increase , or slight water leakage?.very slight. Cervix soft and favorable starting to dialate.
  • Your body is doing what it should be doing...but that still doesn't necessarily mean that labor is close. Lots of women dilate to 3 or 4 and then stall there for weeks. Hopefully baby will stay in close to 40 weeks!
