What's your skill set? I'm not much of a sales person so I wouldn't do makeup and things personally. Plus you invest a lot to begin with.
Could you do dog walking? Even taking the baby in a wrap or stroller and walking some neighborhood dogs could bring in s bit of cash. Around here people pay $25 a day for that.
Since you have a baby maybe limit it to small breeds. My ex is doing this now and takes 4 dogs at a time (in crates) to the dog park for a an hour. She works like 3-4 hours a day Max.
Just be sure the baby is safe because dogs can be unpredictable.
Another idea is one of those websites that has freelance work. Editing, data entry, etc. there are apps and you sign up and people contact you for services.
I own a business and work from home, but if I wasn't doing that I'd be tutoring. Have clients come to your house after school and work with them. I'm a certified teacher so this makes sense but if you have a degree I something people need tutoring in, it could be very lucrative. When I tutored I charged $65 an hour.
