I think Cora or Esme both sound great with the last name. I have a preference for Esme but neither is bad.

Something about your boy names doesn't seem to flow as well for me - maybe it's the double-T sound at the end leading in? I think it could work but I'm not as head over heels about it. I'm also not a fan of the E on the end of Everette - I'd like it much better as Everett, I think.

I think Esme Rose sounds beautiful. There is nothing wrong with Cora, Bennett or Everette- they just aren't my style. Something about Bennett to consider though is that it will probably be shortened to Ben along with all of the other Benjamin's.

Hey BMB buddy! Glad I'm not the only one already thinking about baby names!

I don't like Esme at all, but I know almost everyone else does.

Cora is NMS but Cora Rose flows very nicely.

I love both Bennett and Everett (no e on end - unless that's a family spelling) and think that they both sound good with either William or Scott.

I think Everette looks feminine with that final "e". Otherwise I like all your names!

And I don't get why people always say a kid's name will be shortened. If your child wants to be called by their full name and that's how they introduce them self, people shouldn't be shortening it. If they do, you just correct them and the problem is solved.

NAF of Esme but I think it's because people will stay stuck on Twilight (unlike Edward or even Rosalie).

Cora Rose is beautiful.

I prefer Bennett over Everett but they're fairly even. I would actually drop the E ending whether or not it's a family spelling because otherwise he will have to spell it for people his whole life. I like William better as the middle name, but I also think honor names come before flow, so if Scott is more important to you, use it.

I like both of your girl names equally. I would pick Everett over Bennett but would agree with PP to remove the e at the end. It makes it look feminine (reminds me of all the people naming their daughters Elliotte).

Cora Rose and Bennett William are my favorites. If you choose Everette instead, I agree that it doesn't need the ending e. I would assume that was someone trying to make Everett works for a girl too (a la Elliotte etc).

Esme makes me think of Twilight....and I'm not a big fan, haven't even seem the movies, but it's still true. I do like Cora.

I like Everett spelled this way better than Bennett. With the extra E I want to pronounce it ever-ETTE instead of EVER-ett.

I am in the northeast, but we see thosenames fairly often on this board as well.

Bennett is my brother and SIL first choice for a girl, I don't know how commonly it is used for one versus the other. The E at the end of Everett makes it appear feminine. Esme sounds like a Twilight obsession and it's nms. I like Cora.

Ha, I had forgotten Esme was used in Twilight. It makes me think of Granny Weatherwax from Terry Pratchett's Discworld series, who is so kick-ass she trumps all other usages in my mind.

When I hear Esme I think of Salinger's "Nine Stories" and not Twilight. So it may be a problem, but consider your audience. I don't really think kids of this generation will have a strong Twilight influence. It's a lovely name! I love Cora too. I have a slight preference for Esme, just because it's a little less popular.

As for the boy, Bennett would be my choice. I do not care for the spelling Everette and I think it's a little trendy! Everett is a solid name though... I do not think can make a bad choice here.

I know a couple Bennett's and we get asked about Bennett and Everett A LOT on this board so if they aren't trendy from a SSA perspective they are about to be!!! I actually like your middle name choices better.

I also think Cora is super popular right now (it also comes up all the time on here and I know two though one if them is 6) so I would avoid that but it is pretty. Esme is pretty but not my style.

Yay for our BMB!

I think Cora and Esme are both lovely! For a boy, I would definitely go with Bennett. Everett is far too popular for my taste (and is particularly popular here in the Midwest). Bennett Scott gets my vote!
