Mom win

I saw this on one of the other boards and thought October would like it. This is for all the little and big mom wins.

My son turned 3 weeks today. We have been sleeping in our living room in 4 hour shifts. I take 10 to 2 and hubby does 2 to 6. Last night we transitioned from the bassinet to the crib in an effort for all of us,to sleep better. My little guy did great! And my husband and I both got to sleep so much better! Sleeping in shifts still but sleeping in my bed felt great.

Re: Mom win

  • My win is that my son's pacifier fell on the ground and the 1 time he actually wanted it, it was dirty...I was on the way to take him to the dr and grabbed food at Dunkin donuts so I asked the lady for a cup of hot water and I was able to sterilize it for 10 minutes that way. Seems small but for a sleep deprived ftm it was everything to me! Lol

  • My win is my baby girl puts herself to sleep without issue 99% of the time. She gets a bottle burps snuggle for a few and I lay her in her bassinet or swing and shes asleep within 15 minutes. I hope she stays this way as she gets older!

I'm so very jealous! We had a rough night, in fact we called in Grandpa because the three of us were all having it rough.

  • Breastfeeding is going great from the first minutes of life to now. Strong latch & no bleeding/blisters or anything! My win, I finally dressed baby up, bundled the two of us, (it's a chilly day here in CT) and braved my super long driveway to fetch the mail I haven't gotten in about a week. I was feeling cabin fever this morning, but after that brief walk I was completely content with being in the house for 2 weeks straight.
  • @millereliz13 oh no! I hope it gets better for you!

Resourceful!! But give it a few months and you will pop the dirty paci in your mouth and call it sterilized :)
You know what's so funny....my husband and I were just talking about this! He compares me being ocd on germs to that commercial with the lady that's crazy with the 1st kid but on the 2nd kid she's just like whatever lol but I never understood the sucking the paci thing because to me it's just adding germs from the mouth to the paci lol but your right in a few months who knows I'll probably be like a little dirt never hurt haha
