Babies on the Brain

GTKY saturday:furbabies!

So hopefully its okay i do this :) ive seen this on other boards...can we post pics of our furbabies!? Im a crazy dog mom and animal lover and i love seeing pictures of them! What is their name/age/breed/etc. any furbaby welcome!

My furbaby is named Scully, she is a year and a half, and we adopted her a little over a year ago. We assume she is at least part border collie. She has tons of energy and is a bit of a goofy weirdo (see derp tongue pic haha). she is spoiled rotten and im so glad she is in our lives now!

  • Awww Scully is beautiful! We have a two year old Chiweenie (chihuahua dachshund mix). She has so much energy but we absolutely love her. She is obsessed with her huge yellow wiffle ball that she carries around everywhere. We adopted her and my sister adopted her brother. It's been so much fun watching them grow up together. :x

  • What cuties! I've posted him before, but here's Baxter! He was a rescue, 4ish years old, and is some sort of spaniel or spaniel mix. I love him to pieces! Super nervous because he is seeing a cardiologist about his heart murmur on Wednesday. I hope it's nothing serious! He's the sweetest, best dog.
  • I love seeing everyone's pets. I couldn't live without my animals. The first thing I did when I graduated college was to adopt some parakeets. My animals keep me grounded.

These are my beasties. We call Rylee a lollie - she's a smooth collie and lab mix. She'll be six next month. We adopted her from a rescue when she was 4 months old.

Harold, who we sometimes call "Harry Cat," is a obese siames mix. He is around 18 pounds and is 5 years old. We adopted him from the same rescue as our dog when he was 2.

I also have a green parakeet named Kiwi. She is old and hates having her picture taken. She used to be part of a matched pair (Kiwi and Lemone), but he died of old age a couple of years ago. She is two years older than him.

This is my husband and me a few years ago when both of our pups were still little!  They are now big and snuggly and make me want that little bundle even more!  The bigger is our female, Belladonna, who is rescue who found us at 4 months old.  She is a lab/pit mix who is the most lovable bug ever!  The little guy is our male, Titan, who we saved from being euthanized at 4 weeks when his mom rejected him and his siblings and was trying to eat them.  He is a lab mastiff who was about 10 pounds here and is now about 100 pounds! They are the loves of our lives!

@kfarley74 that is a great family picture! I am so pro-adopting! Im so glad you were able to save titan!
  • This is our handsome, goofball of a mutt, Finn. We got him when he was 9 weeks and were told he is rottie (50%), lab (25%) and border collie (25%). He's now 3 years old and about 100 pounds! We love him dearly; he's a spoiled pup!
  • Love seeing others' pets, too! I'm also a crazy dog lady, haha. Always have been, always will be!
  • These are mine cats. They are 1,5 years old now. The red one is called Heatchliff and he turned into a really big (not fat) cat. He never sleeps curled up so he needs a lot of room lol. He likes playing with water from the tap and will make funny noises when he folds himself to fit in the sink to let us know he wants to play again. He also loves playing with a laserlight. Whenever he hears one of us just grabbing the laserpen he runs toward us.
The red/white cat is called Hector. We think there is some kind of siamese cat somewhere in his ancestors. He's just like a dog. He always wants to be with me or my SO, so he will always try to be in the same room as we are. He loves to play fetch. He'll just show up with some toy or whatever he finds that we have to throw away. And for him, negative attention is also attention. He knows he's not allowed in the garage but he'll run in there whenever he gets the chance so we'll get after him. Nowadays we just close the door and he'll start to miaow until we open the door.

On the second picture I was quilting and they decided to get in the quilting ring the entire time. When I finally had one cat out of there, the other one would get in.
