Having some weird pains...

I'm in my 7th week and I've been experiencing some unusual pain over the past week or so. My breasts are sore, which I know is totally normal. However, I had a really sharp pain on one side of my breast that lasted about 2 days and then subsided. Now I am experiencing lower abdominal pain. It's sharp, but not severe. I have my first prenatal appointment next week, but I'm not sure if I should call sooner.

I'd second the opinion to call your doctor. If it's short shots of pain, it may be rlp (round ligament pain) which is normal. If it's cramping or lasting long periods of time, definitely call your doctor.

My boobs were really sore within the first few weeks...they would hurt more on the sides if i wore a bra. They would trade off too. The abdominal pain can be RLP, iv had it every now and then. Ill have it bad one day and then it goes away the next. Some cramping is normal too. Could it be from being constipated/gas or maybe UTI? If your not bleeding then thats a plus. Check in with your doctor to be sure.

You could check wih your doctor. A patient before me at the doc's today was there for sharp abdominal pains and she was 6weeks. It wouldn't hurt to check. It'll give you peace of mind.

Probably around that same time for me I could have sworn I was having an appendicitis. I was having the craziest, sharp abdominal pain I had ever felt. Due to a previous MC, I was terrified. This went on for a good 5 days. My doctor wasn't concerned though as everything checked out normal. The day it went away, I had a lot of gas (sorry tmi). But after letting it out, I felt tons better. The pain went away immediately. I've had the same issue a few other times and that's what it's been. Hoping it's nothing serious for you! Just don't discount the fact that your body is going crazy and some things just happen like that. But never feel embarrassed to call your doctor. Mine has been super helpful for all my 'silly' questions.
