My husband and I have been TTC for 2 years. Last week I had blood drawn before going in for my laparoscopy. Well my first beta came back as a 6. I was only 11 dpo I believe. Surgery was canceled. Two days later, it came back as a 15. Fast forward a week later and it was a 60. So the numbers are rising but very slow and they're not doubling :-( Is there a chance I can still have a healthy pregnancy?? Anyone have a similar experience?
I suppose there is a possibility but with that low of a rise, I wouldn't count on it. I'm sorry, I know that is not what you want to hear/read and I hope you come back and tell me how wrong I am!
What have your doctors said about the hcg level rising possibilities? Were they skeptical or give you other possible causes?
I have not personally had this experience. I do know of someone who had hcg levels drop a little and then continue to grow from there and they had a healthy lo, but that is an anomaly.
I know it'll be hard but try not to get your hopes up too much at this point. I wish you luck and hope I'm completely wrong!
