Is anyone else on here still nursing or pumping for another lo. My DS is 11mo and I've exclusively pumped for him. I'm still pumping trying to get him to a year. Not the most comfortable feeling in the world :-)
I'm still nursing my 7 month old. Has anyone noticed their supply going down? My daughter seems to want to nurse forever and I'm not sure if it has to do with the pregnancy

Mine is on the boob constantly. But I think it's more that she's teething and sick and in a hell of a leap
My supply has definitely gone down. That was actually one of my indicators that I was pregnant. We decided to ttc knowing we had plenty of milk in the deep freeze to make it well past a year. Unfortunately my deep freeze died a few weeks ago and I lost my milk stash. Doing what I can to keep up with lo but we will see.
I'm nursing my 2.5 year old. Luckily she only nurses in the am and at bedtime. Props to you mamas nursing little babies. It can't be easy to endure the pain all day right now!
Carly79- I'm so sorry to hear that you lost your stash. Hopefully, your supply will keep up.
I had to wean my LO at 12 mos so that my cycle would start. Otherwise, who knows when we would have been able to conceive.
I didn't start my period for 20 months after DD was born!! And I was back to work and supplementing with formula at that point, and AF still didn't return until then. I was beginning to think it would never come back.
@Marisac888 DS is 4 months old and I'm still nursing. My supply has drastically decreased and I have no stash. Wanted to make it to a year, but do not think that is possible. He too will nurse forever, I hear him swallowing less, he often pulls off and rematches multiple times and when he's finished eating he doesn't always seem content. Although he still has 5-6 wet diapers there has also been a decrease there. We will see about weight gain at his 4 months appointment.
@Carly79 I cannot even imagine how upset you were. I almost cry when a bottle with a few ounces accidentally gets left out.
I'm still nursing my daughter who will be 3 in December. It's only at bedtime and nap time now and I don't think I'm making much milk anymore. It'll be interesting to see if she decides to wean while I'm pregnant.

@FutureMrsCAF I nursed my first child during my pregnancy with my second. She was two when I got pregnant and weaned when I was about 7 months pregnant. I was relieved because I had such horrible nursing aversion and nursing her had just become so unpleasant, which just broke my heart. After my son was born, she actually decided she wanted to try nursing again and was so excited when she did and discovered there was milk again! I think I had dried up around the 4th or 5th month. I wound up tandem nursing for about 9 months before she weaned for good at about 3 1/2. The beginning was a bit rough because she went from nursing only at bedtime/nap times (prior to her two months of not nursing) to wanting to nurse every time her brother nursed. I obliged her as much as I could at first just to help ease the transition from only child to big sister. After a few weeks, I had to start setting some nursing boundaries for her, which she did fine with.

@SchruteBucks I'm expecting exactly that to happen for us. It's nice to hear from someone who actually did it. Even if she weans during this pregnancy, I can totally see her being interested in taking it up again with baby.
My DD is 7 months old and still nursing. I pump at work during the day and have noticed a 2-4 oz supply drop per day. I would usually add a pumping session into the day to get this supply back. Anyone have resources on pumping too much during pregnancy? I am planning to tandem nurse them but would love to avoild the 4-5 month pregnant supply drop. Any resources are appreciated!
@blondie1314 I have found I really have to drink water and she seems to be doing okay in terms of diapers. It's hard to drink enough water though because I'm so nauseous, ugh. I hope your supply keeps up for your LO!!
Still nursing my 2.5 year old but only before nap, bedtime, and first thing in the morning. I'm going to let him self wean. I'm not sure if that means I'll end up tandem nursing or not.
@Marisac888 I hope the cookies work! The only thing I have found to work is water also. I'm up to a gallon a day. I don't know how much more I can drink! I spend the majority of the day/night peeing!!!
