I'm 40+5 today, and they still don't have a date for induction because I missed my 39 week appointment. They said I'll get a call today with the date, so fingers crossed it's very soon. I had my membrane sweep done two days ago, had the bloody show, had painful contractions six minutes apart for two hours yesterday and then they just stopped. I've been dilated to a 2 for over a month, and was 80% effaced at my last appt. Come on already Rowan! I've been patient enough, it's time for me to hold you in my arms.

I'm with you mama! I'm so damn impatient to have this little boy. I've been 2cm as well forever but no contractions. I have a feeling I'll have to be induced next week. Hang in there....waiting is the hardest part

I am also 40+5 today... Been walking around 4cm and completely effaced... Baby is SOO low they keep saying "I can't believe you haven't gone into
Labor yet!" I am just not having any painful contractions. I also had a membrane sweep 2weeks ago, nothing. I am scheduled for induction late Sunday night ... But I want it now. This is soooo tough being past due.

I just a call from the doctor and my induction is scheduled for the 21st if I don't go into labor before then. That is a very, very, long time to wait... @_@
