First round of betas drawn today. Why is this so hard???

Had my first round of betas today. Go in on Monday for the second round. I keep thinking wouldn't it be nice to just see a positive hpt and then have a baby in 9 months? It's actually that simple for some people, right? So why not me? Or anyone else reading this who can relate. Ugh. Please send some happy thoughts or prayers my way. I've already had 3 losses. Not sure I can keep doing this.

    I just went in this morning too, totally took me by surprise that they wanted to do them since this is my first and I have no history of loss of anything but whatever. I hate needles and have a nice brusie forming already.

    T&P for a sticky baby! I had 3 betas done, and even though my #'s were low, they were tripling in 2 days. Don't look at the # and freak, watch for it double.

    I go for mine Monday but my doc won't check them again unless they seem low for how far along I am...

    It's tough. I've had 8 losses and still can't believe I'm pregnant. I don't actually believe it.

    Married 11/27/09 and TTC right away
    Dx: Complete septate uterus with cervical duplication, endometrial polyps, PCOS, endometriosis, hypo thyroid, luteal phase defect
    4 uterus surgeries to correct my complete septum and to remove polyps and 2 years of seeing the RE, medicated cycles and IUIs
    Baby 1 and 2: BFP 3/3/11 with 2 babies EDD 11/1/11, M/C 4/6/11
    Baby #3: 8/11 pregnant EDD 4/27/11 and m/c:(
    Baby #4: 10/12/11 BFP! EDD 6/16/12m/c 10/26/11
    Baby #5: 3/13/12 BFP! EDD 11/25/12 ANOTHER m/c :(

    Baby #6: 2/14/13- BFP! EDD 10/24/13, CP 2/19/13
    Baby #7: 3/15/13- BFP! EDD 11/27/13, another CP
    Baby #8.  BFP 5/19/13 EDD 1/22/14. 8 was not our lucky number

    4th septum resection on 5/31/13.
    Baby #9: 6/29/13 BFP. C section scheduled for March 5th!

    My miracle baby was born March 5 at 9:33am. He was 8 lbs 12.5 oz and 21.25 inches long!

    My doctor is doing the same, went in today for mine and got flamed over on the first tri board because someone believed that no doctors would only do one draw. The phlebotomist did warn me that I might have to come back again if the numbers were low but I am kind of hoping I don't have to becuase I hate needles.

    You got flamed?? Can you paste the link? I'll throw my 2 cents in! That's the only reason my doc did multiple follow up draws last time, because my initial draw showed low numbers. I even asked twice if I would have a follow up draw.... Nope.
