Someone recommended trying compression socks for the swelling in my feet and legs. I have had terrible swelling and am looking for any relief! 38 wks tomorrow. No signs of pre-e, I'm just one of those lucky mama's that is getting it severely.
They do work, I got a pair of copper compression socks at cvs. I wear them mostly at night for a few hours before I go to bed. They are hot and uncomfortable for wearing regularly, IMO.
My doctor suggested panty hose instead of compression socks. I guess because the hose help keep the swelling down in your legs and thighs as well. I can't imagine that would be comfortable though.
