Cute way to tell your parents about the future grand baby

HIII !!
I just got these from buy buy baby online to tell our parents the great news !! We wanted to tell them in person so they have no clue yet. It's my parents anniversary this weekend so I am going to pretend this is a gift for them (well, it is!). We are flying to see my husbands parents in about a month and will give this to them then. We will put in the number of weeks left accordingly. After both parents know we plan on telling other people. Isn't this cute?

That's so cute! We are doing something similar for my parents. This is our first baby and my parents first grand baby so it's kind of a big deal! My parents are coming to visit us this weekend and it's his birthday. We got this mugs, baby bibs that say I love my grandma and grandpa go put in the mugs, and then a picture of our ultrasound.

Very cute. We're planning on doing something similar. My BIL's birthday is right around thanksgiving so we're going to get him a baby onesie that says something about being an uncle and give it to him with DHs family there for thanksgiving. Still working on my parents, but no one has a birthday around then to warrant giving presents!

I'm not sure how we're telling yet. I may just call my mom and tell her. This is baby 3 for us and I feel like we've done cute things already. None of our family is close to us so phone calls are the easiest option. My mom knows we were trying so she's expecting to hear the news at some point.

With DS1 we gave my dad a special calendar from Virginia Tech, and marked the due date. DS2 we put DS1 in a shirt that said "only child" on the front and "until July 2014" on the back.

Not sure how we are going to tell our parents yet... but I am due on my grandma's birthday though so we are thinking of giving her a very birthday card from her first great grandbaby to be. She'll be confused why we give it to her in November until she opens to find the sonogram and message.

I love the idea of telling everyone you're taking a family picture, setting it on video without them knowing then saying "ok, ready? On three everyone say 'we're having a baby'" and you catch on video their reactions.

Those are such cute ideas! When I got pregnant the first time, my parents were living in Africa so I had no fun way of telling them. Now they're back in the U.S., so I was excited to tell them in a cute way!

I wrapped up a baby board book to give them as a gift. Inside was a note that said, "Dear Grandma and Grandpa, Please read this to me in June 2016. I can't wait to meet you! Love, Baby [our last name] #2." They were so excited and surprised!

My son's 1st birthday is in November and we will be having our family there to celebrate. I'm just trying to come up with a cute way to announce it. I'm thinking something to do with him opening a present...maybe a t-shirt that says big brother.

Very cute! This is my 3rd, so we are out of cute ideas. We had our 3 year old call both sets of grandparents. She said "I have a surprise! There's a teeny baby in mommy's belly!". Both times they were like "what? Put mommy or daddy on the phone!". They didn't know if they were hearing her right because our youngest is only 9 months old ☺.

It's our first and we're stuck on how to tell our parents. We want to tell them in person, so it would be at the 7 week and 9 week marks, and don't really want the whole family to know that early. We will hit the 2nd trimester around Thanksgiving, so we were going to pray for the new baby during the family prayer to tell the majority of the family then.

This is our first baby, but my parents' 3rd grandchild. I found a frame with 3 little windows - the first 2 had photos of their current grandsons and the last opening said Coming Soon, June 2016. It took them a minute to put 2 and 2 together and then they freaked out. I've never gotten a bigger hug from my dad in my life! They keep the frame in their bedroom, hidden from visitors and other family member since we're waiting until the holidays to spread the word if all goes well.
