Favorite moisturizer?

My skin is ridiculously dry right now. Not sure if it's a symptom or just because fall is here and it's getting colder. Regardless, I need a good lotion or moisturizing body wash. Right now I use Dial glycerin bar soap and Jergen lotion for extra dry skin. I still cannot stop scratching!

    Get a good skin exfoliator - that helps. I love a facial oil called Ever Glow. AMAZING.

    For my itchy belly last time I used MotherLove's lotion or whatever it's called. AMAZING stuff

    I love coconut oil. :) Tallow is great too.

    I suggest getting away from bar soap, as I've read it actually dries out your skin more. I've always noticed my skin always feels super dry after using bar soap. Dove body washes are fantastic and very moisturizing. Aveeno lotions and body washes are also a personal favorite.

    Curel is good lotion, and I like that it's unscented. A lot of people swear by Cetaphil, too, but I haven't tried it. For my face, I've been using a Neutrogena night cream that comes in a blue tub that is super rich but not at all greasy. And I second coconut oil, but only on the body, not the face.

    I use aquaphor. It's more of an ointment than a lotion. A little goes a long way and it works. I wouldn't put it on my face but it's great everywhere else.

    Regular bar soap does dry my skin out but the glycerin bars normally don't. That being said I do plan on switching back to a moisturizing body wash just to see if it helps. I love all the suggestions. I need to sample them all! Lol.

    For face, I use either Cetaphil cleanser or Acure cleansing creme and Acure organic argan oil. For body, homemade bar soap and Shea Moisture Olive & Green Tea body butter.

    Everything in the Josie Maran argon oil line is awesome.
