Poor kid can't catch a break

So my poor little guy has a hernia on each side of his groin and has to he surgery on Monday to repair it. We had an appointment with the surgeon this morning and then later we had an appointment for a follow up hearing screening (because he was in the NICU) and now he needs a follow up on that. Ugh I feel so bad for my little guy... Right now we're just snuggling because we had a long exhausting morning!

He's 10 weeks (4 weeks adjusted) the doctor said the reason they have to fix it is because it could cause issues with his bowel.

poor guy. How does that even happen? Just cried too hard?

He doesn't seem to be in pain. He's a premie so their stuff just isn't as sturdy as a full term baby :-/
