Pain/Cramp when Sneezing?

I was wondering if anyone else experiences brief pain when they're sneezing? I considered this my first KU sign, but realized I remember it being more common in later trimesters. I'm not even 5 weeks (and felt it off and on since 3)...am I the only one?

  • Is it round ligament pain? I have started having it at 4 weeks with this second pregnancy!

  • I definitely know what you mean. It has only happened a couple of times, but yes I've sneezed and felt like my ovaries - or something in the general area - was going to burst or pop. It was intense and worrisome at first. But overall, when there's any kind of cramping or pain, my thoughts to stop the panic are "do you see a lot of blood?" and "On a scale of 1-10 how bad is the pain?"

I don't know why it happens, but it was weird. I have a bad bad flu right now, so i'm sneezing a lot, but it only happens with big strong sneezes, or bad bouts of coughing.

That's what it kind of feels like (and more on the right side, which is typical), but I just find it crazy that I've having it this early! Just like our blumps are supposed to turn to bumps earlier, do we also get RLP earlier, too?

Yes, it fades within seconds, but it is shocking. When it happened before I got a BFP, I remember thinking that it was such a pregnancy sign. My uterus remembers, I guess.

  • Just literally sneezed and had the,"ow, don't make me laugh" shooting RLP feeling on both sides. Stupid uterus.
