Did I just feel my baby?

Yesterday I had some twitching in my lower abdomen, and just passed it off for something weird going on. But then it happened again today, and for longer. Is that my little man that I'm feeling? I haven't felt pregnant this entire time except for being tired and not having an appetite, so it would be awesome if that feeling is the baby!

  • It's very possible!!! You'll probably know in a couple weeks in retrospect.
First BFP 12/2012, MMC at 9 weeks
Second BFP 6/2013, resulted in DS, born 2/23/14 :-)
Third BFP 5/2015, natural MC at 6 weeks
Fourth BFP 8/2015, hoping for sticky little brother or sister to H!

This exactly. DD's baby book says something along the lines of "and at 17 weeks Mommy realized it was you moving and not just gas" :))

  • I read that most feel movement for the first time between 16 and 25 weeks. With you being that close to 16 weeks, I say why the heck not?! Enjoy those twitches! :)
  • Maybe, especially if you're thin.

  • Awesome! I'm 15 weeks and 5 days and just today I swear I think I felt him move. Usually when I feel a "twitch" or something like a kick, it becomes clear pretty soon it was gas. But twice today I felt one distinct "kick" with no obvious signs of gas. Hoping I keep feeling those little kicks and it becomes clear it's the baby.
  • It's definitely possible and it's sort of just more fun to believe it is baby. I don't really see the harm, even if it's just a fart... it the baby making you farty.

I've felt this LO a couple times. Nothing major but it's #2 and I'm pretty slim so it's certainly believable in my head.
  • It's definitely possible. I have a posterior placenta, am petite and on my second so I've felt this LO for weeks already. I'm 15w3d now.

    Enjoy!
