4 weeks old, no facial expressions

So baby boy is 4 weeks old today and we haven't seen much of any facial expressions from him. He will flash a smile here and there when he hears my voice but other than that he has the most serious face. A beautiful serious face!! But when do they start showing some expressions??

    Give it another week or so. All babies are different but both of mine started having more expression around the 6-week mark!

    Don't freak out if you don't see much until closer to 8 weeks too! It's a range of time to expect it and every baby is different!

    My pediatrician said between 6 weeks and 2 months before babies really start responding with smiles. My LO smiles every once in awhile at 6 weeks

    My DD2 was like this. After her 4 week appt we talked to the doctor and it was as though she "woke up" right in front of the doctor. Ask the doctor at your next appt.
