36wks 2cm dilated w/contractions

in 3rd Trimester
I'm 36 weeks pregnate with my 2nd child had a c-section the 1st time so I'm doing a repeat this time, I'm 2cm dilated an having constant contractions but nothing I can't handle. What do I need to do?!

    No idea based on your post. You could be going into labor or you could be having normal BH and being 2cm dialated can last for weeks. My doctor gave me clear advice on when to call/go to L & D. You should call your doctor and ask them for similar information, as well as advice on your current situation.

    I was seen at labor an delivery 2nights before my appointment for a little blood, they sent me home I was only a finger tip dilated an then at my doc app 2 days later I was 2cm dilated.

    At 36 weeks with my 3rd I was at a 3 and continued with contractions that didn't put me into labor for 3 weeks until my scheduled C-section. Dilation really means nothing. I've heard of women being at a 4 for weeks. Lie on your side and drink lots of water to try and manage them. I feel your pain though, that three weeks last time was brutal. Many false alarms.
