How do you relax?

Hi Ladies hope you are all enjoying your first trimester. I am so excited to be back on the  board after my loss in May.

My questions is how do you all stay calm with not so calming situations or people start to bug you. Example: work, bad drivers or your DH!!

I just a yoga breathing technique where you place your tongue on the roof of your mouth and breath in/out through your nose.

Any other suggestions to staying calm and stress free!

Look forward to getting to know you all of your ladies!

Re: How do you relax?

  • I've been having major issues at work and watching stupid funny TV shows with DH really cheer me up. To generally relax? As long as my MS isn't bad I'll crawl into my tub with some zen music and imagine I am relaxing with my baby and just enjoy our little moment.

  • I like to distress with the gym. Spin class, Zumba, running, elliptical really actually enjoy it. Helps me just zone out.
  • love that maybe Friday while my DH is at work I can take a nice long relaxing bath!
  • @aloha5736 how do you have the energy for that? I am jealous!
  • Breathing helps to get me through the nausea and constipation.  After a long day at work I really just enjoy coming home, hanging with the dogs and the Mr. and falling asleep to the television.

Haha for some reason my ONLY symptom is MS, for me it is dinner time sickness. I'm not as active as I used to be, but the AM I feel good and usually can grab a work out in.

I work night shift sometimes, sleep deprivation I can handle LOL, so this fatigue is actually not bad for me. Yea I'm tired but I just push. I do the same thing when I work 3 12 hour nights in a row LOL, I'm so tired i literally don't even think right by night 2.
  • you work crazy houses but good for you! i have some energy in the morning but come 2 -2:30 i am ready for a nice long nap!
  • I do a lot of walking. My good friend who's 26 weeks and I babywore our older kids and took the dogs for a 3.5 mile walk tonight. I always feel better after a good, long walk.
