I didn't see one yet so...

WTF to the staff member who sent me an "urgent" email asking if the students could touch (but not eat) a gummy worm in class. And I wish that was the weirdest email I have ever gotten!

    WTF to a weird work schedule this week. Seriously, will I get to teach my students ever? Monday-- conference day, Tuesday-- partial pull-out for college fair, Wednesday-- PSAT and shortened class schedule, Thursday-- half day, Friday is regular...except that it's Friday. : /

    WTF that my temporary fell out of my new root canal(ed) tooth. When I went to get it fixed they found an ulcer at the spot where they inject the numbing stuff so guess what? I didn't get numbed while they had to re-drill my tooth.

    That's about as bad as my SIL asking me if we had names picked out and then proceeded to tell me 6 names (all girl names because she is apparently destined to only have girls -- because this is how it works obviously...) and then says "BUT YOU CAN'T STEAL THEM". Mind you she has no children and does not see it in her near future. And then she got pissed at me because I told her that she doesn't get to choose her child's gender and it's a 50/50 shot. Wtf just happened here?

    Wtf to having to be approved to driving my own child to a field trip. Apparently the school needs me to up my insurance to the highest coverage. That is almost an extra $1000 for 6 months. I can take my kid to school and certainly pick him up but god forbid I want to take him to a field trip.

    On the topic of name stealing and secrecy my cousin and my SIL were both pregnant at true same time with boys (SIL with twins, cousin with single). My cousin had her name picked out and told no one. The twins were born 2 months earlier and what do you know they gave one of them her secret name. She still didn't say anything until hers was born and it kind of irked my SIL, not because she felt like they owned the name but that my cousin didn't give them the heads up. Also, they probably wouldn't have chosen the name if she had told them beforehand because they picked it at the hospital. Water under the bridge now but it does get confusing sometimes with two little Emmetts running around!

    WTF to complete exhaustion on my only day off this week, I'm talking couch and pj's until it was time to leave for the salon, only to cancel my mani pedi due to afternoon sickness.

    WTF to my DH.  So I work from home.  I work full-time and currently (b/c it is slow) they have us working four 10hr shifts instead of five 8hr shifts.  We each have one weekday off.   My job is very flexible.  I can take a break whenever, but I have to make up time (anything over two 15min breaks has to be made up).  We can take lunch breaks, but that would make my day 11 hours instead of 10.   So I was feeling fatigue very badly this afternoon and I laid down on the couch for about a half hour (this was after my other breaks).   So when supper time rolled around I got some food and ate it while working.  I left all the stuff (trash wise) on the counter with every intention of cleaning it up before I went to bed.  I ended up working more than what I had to make up b/c a client kept dropping post after post and I couldn't seem to dig my way out from under it in such a short amount of time.  So fast forward til about 9pm.  I stopped working and sat on the couch with my hubby.  He gets up and goes into the kitchen.  Meanwhile I feel a really bad bout of nausea and fatigue hitting me.  He then starts yelling at me b/c I left some trash on the counter.  I yelled back that I had not had a chance to get in there yet.  But he kept yelling.  It was like it could not wait that it had to be done NOW.   I don't get why he does not get that I am growing a  human in me and I am super tired and I don't feel like dealing with a lot of stuff at the moment.   I wish I could have puked on him then.  It's what I felt like doing at the time.

    I need to add to this.. I know its not Weds any more but I need to vent

    So my boss just told the whole freaking office I am pregnant!! Seriously, just told about 15 people. I work with all women. Do you know how fast that news is going to travel? I wanted to wait at least until Monday when I am 10 weeks. Now I am terrified that this woman just jinxed my pregnancy. I mean seriously!! What right does she have to tell MY news???? I am so pissed off right now. She has known for 2 weeks or so, and decided today is the day to let the cat out of the bag??

    Yup. Just told my husband that if something bad happens, she can tell everyone about that too.

    I am honest to God, terrified that something bad is going to happen now. Since most of the people I know and talk to on a daily basis now know.

    @yogahh That is so wrong. WTF! I'm so sorry! I'm kind of at a loss for words because it is so messed up.
