Eggs, nuts, lean meat, and leafy greens! Yummy! Any substitute for orange juice? I have peptic ulcers so citric acid is not a good friend, any suggestions?
I'm having such a hard time eating healthy. This week all that I've craved is salads with iceberg lettuce and well, that's really not that great. I crave sour candy like a nut and corn dogs. I feel like I'm failing already. Help, I hate health food. Lol
I totally lost my appetite for anything green (and meat smelled awful to me!) my first pregnancy. What saved me were those v-8 fusion with veggies and juice blended together. I drank one of those a day to get some 'health' food. I'm just a few weeks in to my second and curious if I'll need to do it again. Good luck!
Yeah, I'm not a huge meat eater and I LOVE fruits and veggies, but not lately! It's my first pregnancy and I'm nearly 13 weeks in. I can't get enough meat, the aftertaste of fruit repulses me, and veggies are like...yech! I try to eat things like pumpkin ravioli Or at least a chicken sandwich with lettuce and tomato...that's some veggies! I hate coca cola, but crave it so bad! Avocados are always good (glad I still love those!
I usually love Mexican food but I cannot keep it down. I also crave a lot of unhealthy fatty foods. I try as much as possible to stick to a healthy diet though. Any good recipes???
Im in the same boat. I am a foodie, but I am 9 weeks and I cannot stand anything right now. I have been munching on honey nut cherrios, waffles, and crackers. I am now able to get water down. I need help!! Im worried I am effecting not only me but my baby now too. I cant keep anything down.
I was expecting a longer list...but from what I did see on the list, I am fortunate to like everything on it and I don't seem to have any food aversions *yet*.
I am 7 weeks an having a hard time eating anything and nothing appeals to me.. Just feel like I have a sour stomach all day an all night.. Any suggestions? This is my first time being pregnant..
I am 6 weeks pregnant and food doesn't really appeal to me. I love food and love to eat and am keeping food down, just don't have an appetite. Thoughts?
I'm 5wk+5 and just want to eat lol. Fortunately it's mainly healthy stuff I'm eating, but still the odd choc bar or crisps but I am eating green smoothies, homemade soups greens, fruits etc.
I am a member of Bombshell Fitness, they provided me with meal plans, cardio and workout plans before I was pregnant. Now that I am pregnant I am part of their Baby Fit program. The plan has lots of leafy greens, whole wheat options, quinoa, chicken, lean ground beef and berries. The plan has me eating 6 times a day as well. I feel so much more energy when I am on my plan
I'm 7 weeks along and feel nauseous pretty much all the time. I find eating helps to fight off nausea but it's not quite that east. I'm hungry and crave different things but as soon as I start eating I find it very difficult to finish my meal or snack. So far fruits have been the easiest thing to stomach, apples, clementines, and grapes in particular. Soup has been my friend lately too. Also I feel like I've developed super smelling powers and everything basically smells like rotting road kill. Makes eating difficult when the smell of the thing you're craving repulses you - it's an odd feeling: craving something while at the same time it's STINKS! At this point my focus is getting food in my belly however I can. Hopefully when this "morning" sickness starts to lessen and I have an appetite, I'll focus more on smart healthy options.
Take your vitamins at least and talk to your ob and see what she suggest I take my vitamins and take vitimin C which is good for my immune system I'm 5 weeks and we think we're having twins
Only 5 weeks and 4 days but I seem to have the same appetite I had before I got here. Maybe I'm in for a rude awakening. Sticking to soup, salad, chicken, fruit and veggies.
How can you tell if you are having twins? Is it just a feeling you have? I am curious because I have been having dreams of multiples and they run on both sides of our families!
Every night, I blend a smoothie for my next day's breakfast. I add banana, carrots, beet, spinach, kale, berries, flax, chia, and hemp seeds and then add water. Once I get it down, I feel like I've already taken in lost of my daily nutrients, so I can forgive myself a little bit if the thought of veggies over lunch makes me queasy.
I'm a little under 5 weeks and the only thing that seems to turn me off so far is chicken and eggs. Other than that I love everything on that list. Especially Salmon. Yum.
I feel so hungry all the time and if I don't eat a small snack every hour or two I get really nauseated. Anyone else? Cravings are salad and pasta. New foods that make me nauseated any red meat....
I'm 5 weeks along and during the day, I have literally no appetite. Then, by dinner I'm starved! Haven't really experience any aversions yet (although PB and J seems less appealing every day) ; I can still mostly eat normally but the CRAVINGS. Those have definitely started!
