Using gripe water & gas drops together every tjme

Does anyone use gripe water plus gas drops after a feeding? I just tried both together in the hopes that one or both help in some way - is this ok? I don't want to become too dependent on them or use them both every time we feed but jeesh she has the worst after-feeding air trapped in her. Anyone do this? Or hear that we aren't supposed to use them both together like this? I don't know what else to do, burping her doesn't work very well at all.

  • I do it. I just went to the dr today and she said totally fine! If you're concerned, ask your pediatrician :) I am sure you can just call the nurse line at your pediatricians office and they can give you a quick answer!

You can also try bicycling her legs after a feeding and making sure to keep her upright for 20-30 minutes after a feeding. We've found that helps our little guy. We also burp him for 5-10 minutes after eating and put him on our chest, belly to belly, so that he tries to look up at us. Usually him arching his back and holding his head up help get the burp out.
