Hcg levels??

Hi Ya'll! First time mommy here

Just a quick question...when I tested positive a couple weeks ago, I went to my doctor and they checked my hcg levels which came back at about 1500 or so. They tested me again about 3 days later, and I was at about 3500. That was about 3 weeks ago...my levels today were at 8252.

Is that "normal"? I thought it was supposed to at least double every 2 days...if that were the case, my number should be much higher. My doctor didn't seem concerned, but it just confuses me...

They never told me mine and I have never asked ... but if your doctor wasn't concerned that sounds like a good sign!

There is a point where they keep increasing but stop doubling, and normal ranges are quite wide. I had a test around 8 weeks and I was at 168000 or so, when I should have been in the millions if it kept doubling from the beginning (I had very early tests because of fertility treatments).

Did they test your progesterone? Was everything fine there?

Thanks! Yea, they said it was at 14.2? I don't know what that means or where it's supposed to be lol

Some say above 10, others above 13, and yet others above 15 (seems to be a personal preference). I guess if it's increasing, then you're good to go. When too low (or often when doing fertility treatments), they give you supplements. So my levels are ridiculously high, but that's all because of the supplement.

I had a loss back in may

and this time around they did an early u/s at 6 weeks. We trsted hgc and progesterone came back good. Found the heartbeat

i asked to continue checking my levels biweekly until my first appointment at 11 weeks. They said ok. My level dropped from 34 to 25 in two days then 2 weeks later to 20 and ive been stuck there for another 2 weeks. My doctor said shed like to see my levels at 28 as that is the average for my 9 weeks. So she put me on 400mg of progesterone vaginal suppository. Hoping this works because im a nervous reck. They are checking my levels again next week to see how it is working then my dopplar appointment the week after with another blood test. Ive read about lots of people having successful pregnancies with low levels so that puts me at ease. But wondering why my levels dropped like that. They arent checking hgc anymore and are more concerned with progesterone. Thoughts/advice/any info on how this all works would be awesome. Please no negative comments... dont need that in my life hahaha.
