Can I just say...

My 11 month old staring at me & trying to shove me over to play with the toilet water is not fun when throwing up. Urgh....anyone have tips for getting through this with a baby? It's going to be a long first tri!

Re: Can I just say...

  • No advice, but I'm right with you. I have a 10 month old who has no mercy for the fact that I'm nauseas and exhausted.

  • Oh my, I have a two year old who started laughing this morning when she heard me throw up.
  • Oh poor you! Do you have family or friends who could help by watching your 11 month old from time to time?
  • @CourtJack I'm home with him everyday, so it's basically my show. DH is around when not at work & my mom comes over on the weekends. But I basically have to plow through this tri somehow with him.

Any chance he could develop a love for Baby Einstein videos? Here's hoping the morning sickness doesn't last the entire tri :(

    Edit. Autocorrect
  • Can you put him in the bathtub? That's where I put DS when I need to do something (blow dry my hair, poop). He isn't much of a climber so he can't get out.

  • I have an almost nine month old who is about 20lbs and last thing I want to do is have to carry her around while sick to stomach. Sad to say but tv has been on a lot more even though she doesn't really watch it gives me something to focus on or have on in background
  • My 15 month old thinks it's hilarious to imitate me when I'm puking and then laugh. While it's a great distraction from how crappy I feel at that moment it definitely is no fun. So hard to be attentive and play when I feel so awful. =[
