Super slow labour rant

Is anyone else having a super slow labor? I started at 1am on Sunday morning (contractions 5-8 mins apart) and ended up going to the hospital at 5 mins apart on Monday night at 9:30. The nurse checked me and said I was 90% effaced and only 2cm dilated. I couldn't believe I had that much pain and only made it 2cm! Since I hadn't been able to sleep all day/night they gave me a shot of morphine and sent me home telling me to come back at 3 minutes apart or if my water breaks. The morphine did absolutely nothing and i kept waking up at least every 15 minutes moaning in pain. Then at 6:30 I lost what I thought was my whole mucus plug but every once in awhile when I go to wipe there is still some bloody mucus on it. At about 11:30 this morning my contractions got really far apart (anywhere between 4 and 25 mins)...I'm so ready for this baby to be born. Or at least until I can go back to hospital and get an epidural so I can maybe have one last sleep longer than 15 minutes before the baby comes! I have had about 200 contractions since 1am Sunday. And am in so much pain and so exhausted.
The baby keeps moving around a lot and bumping my cervix. The poor guy must feel trapped in their! It feels like he is trying to escape haha.
Oh and my friend went in at 1am last night with her water broken and they induced her and she already had her baby boy by 2pm! I'm jealous. I wish my water would break so I would have an excuse to go in and stay in!

    I know the feeling my labour was over 50 hours long had to be induced after two trips to the hospital with painful contractions 5mins apart but was stuck at 3cm dilated so they induced me two hours later my water broke and contractions got even stronger still many more painful hours before I was finally 4cm and could get an epidural wanted a vaginal delivery but after two hours of pushing with no succes and failed vacuum and forceps I ended up having a cesarean!

    I wish I could just go for a cesarean at this point. I am so exhausted and can't stop crying because my mind doesn't feel all there from being so tired. I don't know how I will make it through everything until I can finally get an epidural. I also haven't been able to go #2 since yesterday so that's been fun on top of everything.

    My hospital wouldn't let me continue with all the contractions without inducing me after I came in that last time because of all the stress it would've been putting on the bub, don't worry it will all be over soon and you'll have a beautiful baby :)

    I was exactly on the same boat, I am now in the hospital and ready to meet my little guy ! (: hope u guys all have a good birth.

    I just have a huge fear of going to the hospital and being sent home again. I wish there was a way I could check myself how dilated I was!

    This just happened to me. Labored for 43 hours before I was 5cm and admitted. Once in the hospital she was born 4 hours later. I was on no sleep for that time but so worth it! Hang in there.

    Ditto. Started contractions sat night, Sunday went into the hospital thinking my water was leaking (it wasnt) but having painful contractions every 8 or so min. Only 1-2cm dilated. They didn't tell me effacement. Sent home. I've been having fairly painful contractions since then yesterday had them 8 min apart for an hour but then nothing. Lost my plug Monday night. And here I sit still having horrible contractions but nothings happening regularly. I'm ready to get this show on the road, if LO is. Just tired of is this it...and timing contractions and nothing happening. I also don't want to go back to the hospital incase they send me back home, again. I have an apt. On Friday so hopefully they'll be able to tell me something more then, if she's not already here.

    I don't even think I have had a real contraction yet, but I have had everything else. My back is constantly hurting, have bad menstral cramps, belly tightening, lost my MP and am horribly uncomfortable. You would think that maybe I am having contractions but I can't time it because it's constant. This also sounds weird but if I think I am getting one its just gas pain. I am so frustrated. I went in on Saturday thinking my water was leaking as well and they sent me home as it wasn't and I really want to make sure before I go back in this time I am in labor as it sucks being sent home. I truly feel desperate and missable and don't know how much longer I can take this. No one prepared me for this. So ready to meet LO and pray for a healthy baby.

    I was sure it was going to happen yesterday so I called my doctor and she Said it was ok to cancel my appointment (which was yesterday at 10) and that I should go in at 3 mins like the nurses said or if the pain got too intense. How am I supposed to know if it's super intense or if I am just a wimp? I am a ftm.
    After last night I am wondering if maybe it's possible I am constipated and that's why comtractions stopped being regular? I thought I was being cleared out on Monday but then ate a big turkey sandwich Monday night and haven't went since. And when I have had the contractions for the last day or so they feel like I have to go to the bathroom. I sent DH out for kiwis to see if they will help me go. My last fear right now is pooping during labour so I don't care if that happens anymore. I just want one BM before I go in to the hospital.
    Hopefully our babies are extra good because of these super long labours we are going through! Lol
