Intro/ First appointment coming up

Hello ladies. I am hoping to get some peace of mind here. I am also posting over on the miscarriage board. I have had 2 documented m/c and one other that was never documented but after experiencing the last 2 I am almost positive that is what it was. I very first one was about 4 years ago around christmas, the next was May 25 when I would have been 8w, baby measured 6w4d had a normal u/s the day before, the second was oct 4th I was 8 weeks to the day, baby measures 6w5d with a normal u/s 2 days before. My doctor ran a factor 5 blood test and that was negative. They did not want to do any more testing until there was 3 documented. Which just totally upset me. I did find a high risk doctor like the ER doctor told me to do and they were able to get me in at the end of this month. I am only 25 years old, no health medical history, no history of m/c in my family or my husbands. I know something is not going right with my body. 8 weeks to the day something happens to my babies and/or my body. I just want answers but I don't even know where to start.

    Low progesterone maybe?

    I took progesterone this last time and number were perfect when I started bleeding. I thought that after the first one.

    It could have been a chromosomal abnormality. That's the most common cause of early pregnancy loss. The same thing happened with me and we went on to find out that we had lost our baby due to trisomy 13.

    Side bar, it makes me sick to my stomach that two miscarriages isn't enough for insurance to justify testing. We went to a fertility specialist after our loss who was kind enough to bill our insurance as if we had three, but it's ridiculous that he even had to do that.

    Get your thyroid tested also . Most doctors won't test this but both my sister and her best friend had multiple mc ( yes the 3 thing is bs I think) and that was both of their issues :( I knew I had thyroid history so I got a test as soon as I found out . Good luck , and I know it doesn't help now but they both have wonderful healthy children !

    I had 3 mc before 10 wks and doc did nothing. This time I got a new doc and he had me on progesterone from the get go. 26wks today. G/l

    Thanks guys :) they did check my thyroid and all that checked out okay so I am just riding the waves and seeing what they want to do next.
