Is this POOP normal?

I am a first time mom.... And just need to know if my 2 1/2 week is pooping normally?

He currently has a yeast rash and I'm confident it's because of how often he poops.

I can literally go thru 4-5diapers in one changing session! He poops which leads to crying because it hurts his rash. Because it's a yeast rash I'm cleaning his bum under running water in the sink... I then go to blow dry him (can't use cloth wipes or baby wipes) and by the time I go to put on his medicated cream he has just a sminge of poop come out that is just enough to run down his crack.. (enough to need to wash, dry, reapply cream, and new diaper again)

Every fart & sneeze leads to a shart (small poop).

Is anyone else experience this with there baby???

I'm seriously going crazy

My little guy sharts every time he sneezes or farts too and has since he was born (he's 6 weeks now). He likes to poop right after I've changed his diaper, or when I'm in the middle of it, the little stinker!

We've had one diaper rash so far that we treated by using water and a paper towel instead of wipes and applying Boudreaux's Natural Butt Paste ... the rash went away in just a few days. We're actually going to switch to Water Wipes once the rest of our regular baby wipes are gone. You can get them at Target and they're 99% water and 1% fruit extract with no other chemicals. It's a great alternative to washing with water and a cloth!

  • Is it possible that you are changing him too soon? My baby take several minutes to poop. There have been times that I thought he was finished and he continued to poop as I was changing him.

This too. We usually wait a good 5-10 minutes after we hear the first rumble to actually change his diaper.
