Week/fruit: 14/lemon!

Recent/upcoming appointments: Our NT scan went GREAT last Tuesday... we got to see baby waving his or her little hand around and everything looked good! The U/S tech tried really hard to tell us the sex but baby wouldn't cooperate and uncross those little legs... so we set up an elective ultrasound for Thursday!!!!! Really excited/hopeful to find out the sex!!!

Rants/raves/symptoms?: Feeling pretty good... just tired. Nausea still comes from time to time,but is more of an annoyance than anything else now.

Questions for the group?:

GTKY: What drink are you most likely to order at a bar or restaurant (when not pregnant of course!)?: Pinot Grigio or vodka soda with splash of cranberry and extra lime

Week/fruit: 12/plum

Recent/upcoming appointments: got the genetic test results back yesterday, it's a healthy boy! Nothing else scheduled til next month.

Rants/raves/symptoms?: getting a bit of my energy back, but still queasy and/or hungry ALL THE TIME

Questions for the group?: Is anyone else worried about how their step kids will react to/behave around the new baby?

Week Fruit: 15/navel orange

Recent/upcoming appointments: Had NT scan 2 weeks ago. Everything looked good. No idea about the sex though. We'll find out anatomy scan in 4 weeks. Next appointment is on 10/28.

Rant/raves/symptoms: feeling really good except for occasional heartburn. This plagued me all of my last pregnancy as well. Happy to have energy back.

Recent/upcoming appointments: I have one next week but would have to check the actual date to be sure.

Rants/raves/symptoms?: still nauseous and getting a lot of headaches, but caffeine usually helps. Also, my mother is being a *!^€ and thinking about her makes me stabby...then again, this kid is going to be adorable so it's her loss.

Recent/upcoming appointments: I Have one at the beginning of November. Just had my first U/S last week!!!! So amazing!!!

Week/fruit: 15. No idea what the fruit is, orange maybe?

Recent/upcoming appointments: Next week I have just a "checkup" style appointment. I'm a bit concerned that I'm gaining a lot of weight really fast.

Rants/raves/symptoms?: Still a bit vomity... I really should not try to wash dishes on an empty stomach... and tired... and pretty cranky too.

Questions for the group?: I recently realized that I'm actually supposed to be a Monday ticker change person, but there doesn't seem to be a thread for that, and I've been posting on Tuesdays for a while... can I stay with you all?

GTKY: What drink are you most likely to order at a bar or restaurant (when not pregnant of course!)? MOST likely? Water. If I'm drinking, rum & coke or hard cider depending on the crowd.

Week/fruit: 13/peach

Recent/upcoming appointments: NT went great last Wednesday. The tech had to poke my belly a few times to get him/her to stop squirming so she could get a good heart rate. I have no idea when my next appointment will be since I'm trying to transfer to a new practice. Why did my OB have to move to a new state

Rants/raves/symptoms?: nausea is almost non existent for the past five days or so. Still tired, still drinking coffee in the morning to help with headaches

GTKY: What drink are you most likely to order at a bar or restaurant (when not pregnant of course!)? I'm a sucker for fancy cocktails. Im extra interested if Gin is involved

Week: 14/lemon. Although, yesterday I was telling a neighbor that I was 12 weeks. Apparently, I forgot how far along I was....

Upcoming appointments: beginning of November for another routine check-up.

Rants/raves/symptoms: I think the nausea is finally starting to wane. Thank heavens.

GTKY: what the hell is a bar? J/k, I just don't frequent them as often as I once did. However, I would say a nice craft beer if I am out. If I'm home, usually red wine.

@brenlo42 me too girl... my scale just conveniently ran out of batteries, but I think I gained about 15 lbs in first tri... ack.

@cjbwifey2010 - I'm hoping to have a bunch of coworkers over for Thanksgiving. I figure most of us are hundreds of miles away from our families and we all deserve a good meal. Plus, I love me some turkey day leftovers. For Christmas I'll lie low with DH unless we magically get his kids, which is unlikely. You?

Week/fruit: 14 / lemon (which seems smaller than a peach but ??? !!!)

Recent/upcoming appointments: had our last OB appointment a week ago and don't have another scheduled for a month. until then just hoping to enjoy the second trimester after everything i've heard!

Rants/raves/symptoms?: still a little sick at times but not nearly as much or for as long. still a little tired. extremely hungry a lot of the time, sometimes even when i'm eating. got up this morning with energy and washed a huge sink full of dishes! made the facebook announcement yesterday and everyone was really psyched. going on our first "vacation" this week to the washington / oregon coast area and pretty excited but nervously hoping my body cooperates.

Recent/upcoming appointments: Thursday we have our monthly check up - hoping to hear the heartbeat again since my bleeding scare a week ago.

Rants/raves/symptoms?: Very tired, nausea is letting up some but still taking Diclegis to take the edge off. Ready for the mythological 2nd trimester to kick in. Heartburn is starting to kick in, ugh.

Rants/raves/symptoms?: I tried chicken again and didn't vomit. Although SO'S canned chicken for lunches still makes me run for the bathroom.

Questions for the group?: so my OB changed my date till Friday but I've been here so long I'd like to stay on the Tuesday ticker change...

@AmadorRose- My sister and I switch up who does Thanksgiving and Christmas so this year Christmas is at my house. My family and I will travel to FTL for Thanksgiving at her house, which is always a blast. Looking up recipes and stuff always warms my heart. Christmas will be interesting being 5 months pregnant and all. We do a few activities the days after Christmas like ice skating and festival of lights. Should be a fun year. Hope I can keep up! Your ideas sounds so amazing. It's always great to have people over. Something to truly be thankful for!

Recent/upcoming appointments: next OB appt October 20th. Will be scheduling A/S at this appt

Rants/raves/symptoms?: I fell in my stairs because I slipped (on my butt). Super mad at myself for it. Symptoms have pretty much disappeared except for sore boobs and fatigue.

Week/fruit: 15 weeks/navel orange

Recent/upcoming appointments: had my 15 week appointment last Thursday. Got to hear the little ones heart beat again and we get to find out gender at our 20 week appointment, so definitely looking forward to that!!

Rants/raves/symptoms?: feeling pretty good still, although I've heard you are supposed to get more energy in second trimester and I feel more tired in the evenings. Also, Ive started to get headaches, which is not very fun.

Questions for the group?: none at the moment.
