Popping / cracking noise?

Lately I've been noticing a noise.. It kinda sounds like knuckles cracking or sometimes like bubbles popping coming from my pelvic area.. It's typically only when baby is moving. I figure he's okay since he's still active. But any ideas on what that odd noise is?

    Yes! I have been hearing this for a while. It totally freaked my husband out. I googled it and didn't get a clear answer, but it seems to be pretty common.

    Not sure. My guess is loosening joints and ligaments.

    I've been having it for awhile now. I asked the doctor and she said it could be a few things either the baby is sucking on something, amniotic fluid moving around, or she said babies joints can make popping noises. She said totally normal.

    Same here! It sounds just like little joints popping, which I imagine it is.

    Baby on the outside make littles shoulder popping noises. I never heard them when she was inside, but quite a few people do.

    OMG! Me too! I was just googling this yesterday...to me it sounds like cracking knuckles sometimes when she moves. It freaks me out and my husband heard it over the weekend and was SO creeped out!! This pregnancy is so amazingly different from that of mine with my son 4 years ago.
