Back labor?? Anyone had it?

Hey everyone! I'm 38 + 4 weeks pregnant. Third time mom, 2cm, 50%. I woke up with severe back pain and hip pain. Losing a lot of discharge, not bloody though and had some loose stools. I've never had back labor but looking for moms who have had it. The back pain will NOT go away. I've taken two baths, gotten a back rub from hubbs, heating pad, Tylenol, and nothing. I haven't put a call in yet, obviously. I've had sporadic period cramps and sporadic braxton hicks throughout the day. But the back pain isn't timeable but constant. Does anyone have any experience?

    I had back labor with my baby. It felt constant but there were definitely ebbs and flows. It would get pretty painful and then it would gradually get less painful but was still uncomfortable. I also had some contractions in my lower abdomen - they felt like really painful menstrual cramps. I timed them based on when it felt the most painful. They were pretty close together but they were only actually lasting about 30-45 seconds (the nurses at the hospital told me this). I was also dehydrated and baby was in a funky position so once I got IVs things moved quickly.

    I had back pain the entire time (my little one was posterior). I was sick to my stomach 2 days before my water broke, and had back pain that entire week. I was having contractions every 5 minutes when we finally went in, and I had no idea.

    I had back labor for 17 hours before getting an epi with my son. There were no breaks - just ebbs and flows like a PP said - and I couldn't understand how they were so close together when I tried to time the pains. If I were in your position, I would take the back pain seriously! I never had belly pain, just back pain.

    I have constant back pain as well. Can't really time it because it's constant. My belly has been tight all day and I feel hot and horrible. I can't stop crying because I feel awful and feel like this is never going to end. I don't know what to do. I feel like the doctors don't care and if I go in to get checked they are just going to send me home because it's nothing.
