Success with Frozen Embryos??

Hi Ladies.

I am 36 yo. Had my DD 2 years ago after 1 cycle of IVF, which also left us with 2 frozen embryos. I have PCOS and my DH has dysmorphic sperm, so we had 4 failed IUI's and then had succes with IVF + ICSI. We are planning on transferring the frozen babies later this fall, and I was just wondering how successful people have been with transfers. How long have your babies been frozen and did you have a successful pregnancy after having them frozen for a long time? Was your conditioning very difficult?

Thanks so much!
J

Re: Success with Frozen Embryos??

  • Our embryos were frozen for about a year. I had an unsuccessful fresh transfer then a semi successful frozen. Transferred 2 and 1 stuck. Currently 10w6d. The process before and after is easier than the fresh cycle. Good luck to you! All the best :)

  • I believe that they are finding that frozen cycles work better than fresh, as your body hasn't been under the stress of producing. Good luck!
