My friend started getting milk and she hasn't nursed her daughter since she was 14 months. She's 2.5 now. She blames me and another friend of ours who is also nursing, we've been at her house a lot lately.
Damn; I couldn't even lactate properly the first time and people can just dream about it and get it back? Don't mind me turning green with jealousy over here.
Good luck, OP. I know it is doable, but it takes a lot of work. KellyMom does have some good tips for relactating.
My friend swears by this soup...I have milk, but feel like my hormones are changing and my supply might be dipping. Going to try it this week. Also, I make overnight oats every night to grab in the am. Again, I have milk, but I'll let you know if this helps with increase.
3-5 pieces of bone in chicken (thighs) 2 cups unsalted peanuts 4-6 cloves raw garlic (whole is fine) 1-2 green mangos ( I got them at the Asian grocery store near my house).
Cover with water.
Simmer or boil until chicken is cooked. I did slow cooker overnight.
Pull out chicken, shred. Set aside. Emulsify soup. Add additional chicken stock if too thick. Add chicken back.
Re: Getting my milk back
(This is what I was told. My family is Spanish and tends to make shit up sometimes. But here's hoping!)
