My dear office mate that just hosted a popup boutique party (I am not against the brand - so I decided to refrain from posting it here). Please back off. I am not about to pay $99 for a blouse, or $159 for a sweater. I don't care how meticulously they finish their hems or the cute little details. I like sale racks. I like feeling like I got a good deal. I like a good quality product, but $159 for a sweater?? That sweater may be my style - the price is not.

Stop bothering me at work.

My sleeping habits. Woke up with H at 3:00 this morning because he had to be at the job site extra early today, fully planning on going back to sleep for at least an hour. My body said yes, but my brain and hormones said no fucking way. Friday can't come soon enough.

Me too! Was up twice last night for an hour each just laying around watching tv. And of course now I'm super busy with work today and beyond tired.

Apparently I am snoring suddenly and my husband has been sleeping in the guest room when he can't go back to sleep at some point in the night. Even with him gone and me sleeping better I got a decent night (only wide awake at 5am, not 4:30 like yesterday) I still feel like I could fall asleep in my desk chair. Ughhhhh.

My training instructor. Thankful to be at home this week training while in my jammies, but this guy is a total twatwaffle. He talks to us like we are idiots and in staccato like: "do. you know. what i'm talking. about?" And he is all over the place so my coworkers and I (2 are also in the class) are totally lost. At least the labs are step by step, but not sure I'm actually going to learn anything from this guy.

Amen to the hormones being a real bitch! The other Twatwaffle on my list is all the parents who cut in front of me in the preschool drop-off/pick-up line. There's a prescribed way to move through the school parking lot so we don't block the entrance and the line doesn't extend out into the street. It's spelled out in detail in the parent handbook. And yet. I'm all, "Does your lack of ability to follow instructions concern you at all?"

Last night I was so annoyed when I tried to run to the store to quickly pick-up a few things. I hate when I go to Sams club and they have other people there trying to demonstrate things and sell you things like cable or some really expensive make-up. I always feel like I have to keep my head down and avoid eye contact. I feel bad because I know they have a job to do but goodness i'll approach you if I'm interested.

My twatwaffle today is my throat. How fucking raw is it? Why all the pain? I couldn't sleep yesterday due to the severe sore throat I have. Not a full blown cold, just a sore throat. I am in so much pain.
No amount of tea, cough drops, mess, nothing, is making it better.
This cannot go on. I NEED sleep. I have a medical condition that is immensely dependent on sleep! Just please make the pain go away.

And to top it all, I can't eat anything sweet when I have a sore throat, it irritates my throat even more, especially chocolate. I have a dinner night with my BFF at the Melting Pot, how am I supposed to have chocolate fondue with this f-ing sore throat?!?!?

Also twatwaffles my dogs! I'm tired and in pain and moody and they won't leave me alone. They want to go outside, then they bark outside so I have to bring them in bc the neighbors get mad otherwise, now they're begging to go outside again. It's like, "No! If you're only going out to bark then the answer is NO! Now lay down and sleep do fuck's sake!"

I feel so crappy I just want to lay in bed in full misery all day.

My MIL...we told both our parents early 5 weeks. I have just felt so terrible and I feel like it is starting to show, like I'm disinterested in being there. My mom was on to something. Told them they could tell one friend, my mom told her BFF who i've known my entire life, figured it would help them get the bug to tell a bunch of people out. We plan to also tell my brother in law and his wife. That is it till 12 weeks. Well, my MIL isn't satisfied with just telling one of her closest friends and the past 5 days is just asking me if she can tell so so. LOL like what don't you get no! She's like their not on FB and they won't care if you miscarriage, well unfortunately I do care LOL. I'm thinking we should have just told my parents and thats it.

Adult croup. Seriously, who gets that?? Apparently I do. And my 4 yo has big kid croup. So we are sitting in front of a humdifier while I pretend like we aren't going on vacation in 3 days. Just crossing my fingers we don't give it to the 2yo also!

I'm so terrified to tell my MIL for that exact reason, but I do like the "you can tell one person as long as that person knows they can't tell anyone". Be strong and remind her that it's your secret to tell, not hers and you told her early because you trusted her.

@sgoldberg247 Yes, honestly I knew I had to tell my best friend. I can talk to her and now I'm fine LOL with waiting for the rest. Just needed to tell someone. I figured it would be nice for them to do the same, but now its like the saying "give an inch and take a mile" LOL. I told her this AM its a bad omen to start telling people so early, hopefully she gets the hint!

My twatwaffle today is my little brother in laws gf. Oh man they just got back from Hawaii with my in laws (my in laws basically paid for everything) and there was an excursion planned since February that she didn't want to go on. So it comes time for this excursion and she still doesn't want to go. So in the morning she wakes up all alone in the hotel, texting and yelling and breaking up with my little brother in law in Hawaii! So eventually my MIL had to drive back early from the excursion b/c she said she was leaving. So as my MIL is going to go get her she sees her walking down the street with her bags and she's already booked herself a stay at a motel. Fucking twat says she paid money on this trip but my inlaws asked repeatedly if she wanted to go on this excursion!! So she never said sorry just "I love you guys". This gals a real twat they live with my in laws rent free don't pay for food no other bills. And she always says things to my little bro inlaw that are hurtful to him like he has a small d*ck and that she tells her old coach she doesn't know why she's with him. So hopefully he never proposes to her and leaves her eventually no one can stand her. Today her existence just makes me fume and is my twatwaffle Tuesday - RANT END

She sounds like a real peach. I feel like this is one of those situations where she's either really good looking and that's the only reason your BIL is still with her, or your BIL is a dumb dumb.

She's actually not. His last gf was super pretty like super model pretty and fit and broke his heart. So we have all come to the assumption she's "safe" for him he could do so so so much better. Oh she is a real peach we told his family; everyone was overjoyed with excitement and in tears she sat with her mouth open and her phone in her mouth staring at us.

This is going to be cathartic...

The biggest twatwaffle in my life right now are my Progesterone supplements. They are making my life a living nightmare. I am so tired I can barely function, my boobs are so sore I'm convinced they may just fall right off, my appetite is so ruined, all I can stomach is simple carbs, I'm constipated, if I eat fiber rich foods I just get painful gas, I feel like I'm walking through syrup, everything is cloudy until about 5pm, since I'm taking them as a suppository I'm getting some really uncomfortable itching. Ugh. My pregnancy symptoms were annoying, but not debilitating until I started the damn progesterone. Stupid body, learn to make enough of the correct hormones already! Oh, not to mention that the suppository pills are a red gel-cap. RED, I am putting something with red dye up into my vagina each night! Inevitably the dye comes back out, and it makes me spot red all the time. It's like a bad joke! A pregnant woman that's given a pill that makes her think she's always spotting? Thanks pharmacy!

My H doesnt want to tell anyone till 12 weeks. My family wanted to have a few drinks this weekend to celbrate my moms birthday and i kindly declined. Now they wonder why. He doesnt want to have to tell everyone that ive had a miscarriage if it does happen. I just want to tell everyone because im soo happy and excited and he doesnt. Grr, its sooo frustrating.

I would like to adjust my twatwaffle today: went to the doctor because of this horrible sore throat. Well turns out I have the flu! Yay me!
AND
the usual flu antiviral cannot be given to pregnant women. Yay me!
AND
I also have an ear infection that is dripping down my throat and causing all the sore pain. At least I can do antibiotics for that.
AND
I'm home alone while my husband is in Germany. Anyone that wants to come and help is at risk of getting sick too.
AND
I'm contagious for 5-7 days from Sunday. I'm supposed to be on a plane to meet DH in Germany next Tuesday evening. I really hope I am better by then.

Today's twatwaffle is laundry. Going downstairs to the basement to switch out laundry sounds like torture right now, but I'm wearing my last pair of undies today, so I really need to go do it so I have some to wear tomorrow. I wish I had first floor laundry!!

Our babysitter who just quit on us last minute is a giant effing twatwaffle. Now, I'm leaving DS with someone tomorrow I found last minute on care.com who actually sounds better than the former babysitter, had a good reference, etc., but my nerves are shot.
