Cramping sure from time to time . Pressure most the time . But constant cramping doesn't sound normal , i suggest a call to your OB, better safe than sorry
I have been cramping for the past week. Not all day but several times throughout the day..kinda like menstrual cramps. I told my doctor about it at my last appointment and he suggested to drink more water and if it keeps happening, he said I needed to head on over to the hospital to get checked. Hope that helps
I've been having a lot of cramping and pressure as well. I've been having it for over a week. I went to the the ER and they just told me to drink more water and that it's probably just BH. I was pissed. I drink a shit ton of water throughout the day ... It's not dehydration that's causing the BH. I'm just so over being pregnant. My body just aches. I'm 37 weeks and I'm just over it.
I've been having painful cramping since 31 weeks. Doctor confirmed that they are in fact contractions but the closest they've ever gotten is 7 minutes which is not close enough to cause much cervical change if any at all (I've also been just under 2cm since 31w). I'm 35 weeks now so doctor said I don't need to come in unless they get 5 minutes apart and/or my water breaks. At this point she said she would let me go into labor and would give me a steroid shot for the babies lungs.
From what my doctor told me, dehydration can cause BH but BH usually are not painful. So if you're in pain, then you should probably get checked out. If you're 34 weeks or less they can run a preterm labor test on you to put your mind at ease.
I've been having this too. For me it's like one long contraction that doesn't go away for hours. I can barely walk and the pressure is almost unbearable. I'm calling L&D the moment I get home and get the kids in bed, just to see what they think.
