Please Help, miscarriage?

Woke up this morning to pink discharge along with bright red spotting... Went straight to the hospital. Dr did a ultrasound an found a sac with no visible baby, I am 10 weeks tomorrow, my first ultrasound is scheduled for this Thursday. I am so worried, Dr tried saying to wait till Thursday to do it with the "better" machine because his might not be strong enough to detect the baby... Been crying ever since I came home... Anyone with similar story that can give me some hope ?

    I am not sure what ultrasound machine at a hospital could not detect a baby that is 10 weeks along. Is this doctor your OB? If so...find a new doctor. If not call your OB.

    At 10 weeks there should be very clear reading.....the hospital should have state of the equipment that should give an accurate picture and heartbeat.....hang in there

    So sorry. The waiting is the worst. I had a similar situation and my OB sent me down to radiology telling me he couldn't find a HB but radiology had better equipment. At the time i was 6 weeks. He called me later that night and all turned out to be well. Few weeks later went in for my 10 week appointment. And same ordeal. He couldn't find anything and sent me down to radiology. I got a call that night from him with bad news. Fingers crossed you get good news. Hang in there!

    I'm so sorry. I had the same situation. I ended up going to the hospital and also trying with a better machine. I ended up having a blighted ovum, it was the most hardest thing I've ever been thru. A blighted ovum is where the sac forms but there is no fetus. I am praying for you that is not the case. But if it is know that your not alone. I will pray for you for better news. Hang in there ❤️
