My mom always talked about how she would get her hand under us and move us around while we were still in her tummy. Especially if we were sitting on a nerve or something. I've been doing this to my little one when he really get feisty (like kicking my ribs or bouncing the bladder like a trampoline) and it does help him move off problem areas... but when I told my MIL, she got all wide-eyed and freaked out a little. "I've NEVER heard of that! CAN you DO that?!?" I don't see the problem with it as it's more like gentle pushing nudges to encourage him to relocate.
Has anyone else done this? Just make sure my mom and I aren't nuts.
