diaper explosion after starting formula

So after 6 weeks of EBFing I started introducing formula because I will need to supplement when I go back to work. I tried Similac supplement formula and today LO had a diaper explosion, didn't seem to bother him once he got a clean diaper. Just wondering if that is common when adjusting to formula after breastmilk. I have other samples of formula and was wondering if I should switch to the Similac sensitive. He has been a gassy Lil guy from the start.

    I would keep going with the formula and see if anything else happens. If it's bothering him he will let you know.

    Thanks for the advice. I did keep going with the same formula once each day and his poop thickened up so I will buy a can when my samples run out. My boobs and I feel so much relief.
