June 2016 Moms

Fit moms?

Any other fit mamas out there?

I work in the fitness industry, coach women all ober the world and own a gym with my husband here in Florida. I am excited to share my journey on social media with me being a powerlifter and figure pro, I love lifting so I'm happy I get to continue. We are obviously backing off the intensity of my lifts though.

Re: Fit moms?

  • Fellow fitness/lifting lover over here. While I would love to say I own my own gym, that is a dream that is still in the works. Doing my best to keep up with my lifting regimen during the first tri...I'm definitely feeling the lack of energy. I am ALWAYS tired! But I'm making it happen and just listening to my body.

  • I'm not a coach or gym owner, but I do enjoy lifting/strength training. Currently I run, lift, and/or do HIIT 5-6 days a week. Planning to continue as long as possible!

  • There's a weekly, well last week there was a great one, I need to figure out how to start a thread ;) a lot of us workout mommas checking in and asking/answering questions. @KelseaMW and @mrsschmity you both sound like you'd have some great advice! A lot of us were wondering what to scale down, when, etc. happy to go along this journey with more fitness ladies!

Yea we are just backing off the intensity and shutting down sessions when I feel too tired, I am still lifting 5 days a week though and I am happy that I can squat bench and deadlift throughout!

  • Hi Ladies I'm new here. Not a lifter but have been spinning, pilates and kettlebells classes since March. I am now 6wk pregnant. Is it safe to continue or should I stop till I get to 12.
    Thanks
