Is this name stupid sounding?

I love the name Maxwell for a boy, but... My last name is Williams. Maxwell Williams, doesn't really roll off the tongue does it? Too many L's right?

I think it's the "well will" that's throwing it off, but it isn't terrible. He will probably be called Max most of the time, and Max Williams is perfectly ok. I think Max is fine as a stand alone name too.
