Drooling and soaking crib sheets

Hi everyone. My LO is 19 weeks. She's just figured out how to roll and when I put her down for a nap or for bedtime, it's not unusual to find that she's rolled on her tummy at some point. I'm finding that when I go to pick her up, the sheets are soaked around her head from the crazy amount of drool she's also producing! Is anyone else noticing this? How are you keeping your sheets dry?

My concern with this is sometimes she'll roll and sleep on her tummy and I don't want her sleeping with her face in a wet spot.

Re: Drooling and soaking crib sheets

  • My DS has done this for awhile now. For awhile I was getting so frustrated by it I took the sheets off and just had him sleeping on the actual mattress. It worked well because the mattress is plastic-y and it dries up quicker or with a quick wipe than the sheets do.

  • My friend told me about a matress protector that is very absorbant and waterproof at the bottom, i didn't get it because dd doesn't roll in her sleep but maybe you should look into it
