  I always thought it was for car seat use. Like you could slip the bottom buckle through it to strap your baby in, then wrap the swaddle around them. Not sure if this is actually what it's for, just my best guess!

  I thought it was for peeking in to see if the diaper has a blue stripe (wet) or looking in the diaper for poop.

  I use it to check the wetness indicator on the diaper so I don't have to unswaddle just to see if she needs a new diaper

  It's for a three point harness, like on the bouncer or swing. The buckle goes inside and you can bring the straps in underneath the "wings"

  It's for buckling baby into something, but a diaper checking window is great too!

  I use it to make a stronger more secure swaddle. One side goes over and I can pull it tight through the loop behind him before fastening over the second side.

  I love this swaddle! Just for any one else who's baby manages to still get their hands up I found this amazing hack! We've been using it the past few nights & it works wonders!
