Wow, so I haven't posted in a while but had to today! I had such a rough week! So Tuesday I had my 20 week ultrasound. We were doing all the measurements etc etc and they found a Isolated fetal choroid plexus cyst on Rocco's brain. Of course not hearing about these freaked me out. But the nurse assured me it's extremely common. Plus all my state screening came back negative. So there is that! Then Tuesday night I was aching so bad in my chest and arms as if I lifted something too heavy or did a insane work out. I took tylenol and passed out. Well Wednesday evening came about and around 6-7pm it started back up, but 10 times worse. I took a warm bath, put ice on my chest, massaged my arms. Nothing helped. And now my upper back hurt. I took my blood pressure..... 116/103. Not good! So I called the on call doctor at 3 am and she told me to get to the er. Thought I didn't take my blood pressure correctly. Well blood pressure was fine going in but the did a ct scan. I had a lovely blood clot in my left lung know as a pulmonary embolism. UGH! Seriously!!!! I have the Heterozygous prothrombin G20210A mutation. Which I already knew. My doctors said baby asprin was enough and I didn't need stronger meds since I have never had a blood clot. Well they both said they were wrong! I has in the hospital for 2 days hooked up to a heart monitor and a bunch of other machines. Had a ultrasound on my legs and a Echocardiogram. Those came back good. The maternity ward came by twice a day and checked for Rocco's heartbeat. This little dude is doing great! However I'm just broken! So now I get to take Lovenox twice a day, 85 mg each dose til 6 weeks after I give birth. Has anyone gone through something similar or is on Lovenox?

Re: What a week..... Isolated fetal choroid plexus cysts and I have a pulmonary embolism! Story/question
until 36 weeks when I'll be switched to something different until I give birth. Not fun giving myself a shot but after 4 months I don't even flinch anymore. I know it's a pain, but it's for the good of our babies.
